“Had a day out with Rich on 8th April. In all honesty I wasn’t expecting much. It’s a difficult time of the year and I knew that a combination of dirty water and small tides was going to make life even more difficult. On the plus side it was a great forecast so I knew I’d still have a great day at sea. What I wasn’t expecting was to go home with a bag of 15 fish and that’s after chucking quite a few, around the 40cm mark, back. Rich’s knowledge of the local ground really paid off and whilst other boats steamed 20+ miles off shore we sat tight under the cliffs uptiding. A brave move at this time of the year but it definitely paid off. Great day with a great skipper. Highly recommend.”

I found our server to be delightfully eccentric, but incredibly warm and I could see how people would want to return again, even if it was just for the warm atmosphere. I would describe the food as homely. Very comforting and tasty. Not food that shows off, but definitely food that leaves you feeling full and content. Very happy we decided to visit today and hoping to make this a regular in our restaurant rotations.”
