“Peejay pet superstore is our go to animal food store. They have the biggest range in the area. The choice of greyhound food is very good all clearly labelled With different protein levels to suit your dog. The chicken feed is also excellent, and There is a good choice of ferret food as well. It's a nice well laid out store. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The big sacks of pet food we buy are very heavy, so if you spend over £40 you can just call them with your order and they will deliver it to you for free.”

“Friendly staff and very helpful. Always has what we need and as a bonus, the advice is free! Good range of products, no cheap rubbish, just good quality products to keep your pet healthy and happy. If you can't find it in here, don't bother. Certainly wouldn't go to a chain pet store just because it's a penny or two cheaper when we've got this great shop on our doorstep. “Brilliant range of cat stuff for a small shop, particularly like the catit chicken dinner and catit divine shreds Also a fan of their tubs of cheap toys starting at 49p. Last trip I got four different normal toys and four from the under a pound basket and got changed including pound coins from a twenty pound note Would like to see the ball of wool toy by all back in stock please, this is the nearest thing I can find anywhere else and it's just not the same”

“Friendly store with lots of choice. Excellent range of accessories with lots of aquatic stuff you. Enjoyed looking at the aquariums but the cold water section could do with a few more different ranges of fish. Nice selection of Malawi cichlids. I even saw snapping turtle in one of the tanks. Excellent range of juwel accessories. Good selection of reptiles and accessories”

“It was the start of lockdown last year that I decided to get a tropical aquarium. As it was a large tank and cabinet they delivered it for me, the same day. Got advice on set up and water chemistry...took a couple of months to cycle the tank properly, they do the water checks whenever I feel the need. A year on, the aquarium is well settled in with a decent selection of easy to care for fish. Better than watching the telly! Still visit for food, chemicals, and fish as needed.”

“I have a strong puppy that constantly pulls while trying to walk her I visited Smiths to buy a dog matic halter. A team of staff with abundance of knowledge and did not let me buy something that did not fit my dog correctly we tried many halters on the dog but she was too small for any of the ones that we needed to control the pulling. Another place would of let me purchase one and walk away. Not Smiths staff they were amazing highly recommend this pet shop and the staff. 100% honest staff”
