“Visited The Surf Shack on a Friday morning with my 3yr old son and how lovely it was. From the first we stepped through the door you could feel a warm welcome and the staff there were ever so friendly and attentive. The cleanliness was 5*, the food was great and had so much choice of homemade savoury and sweet. The fudge and rocky road were to die for. My son really enjoyed the soft play upstairs, great selection of toys, learning activities and he also enjoyed his lunch box. Can't wait to go again.”

“It’s a lovely location, musicians were playing in the middle of the square which was lovely for ambience. I ordered an oat vanilla latte and my partner got a chocolate milkshake, they were both lovely. Good amount of seating both in and outdoors.”

It's great to have some vegan bakery options and plenty of drinks on the menu that can be made vegan. I can't wait to try a pistachio latte next time! Would recommend if you're in Leeds and you want a nice coffee. Also the seats are comfy, the staff are friendly and the toilets are clean.”

“Pretty much all of my Caffè Nero reviews involve me complaining about everything, this particular location is the exception. The staff are amazing, friendly, accommodating and recommend some great tweaks to menu drinks (the Mango & Passion Fruit Fruit Booster but with cream so it's like a liquid Solero is genius), the ambience is nice, it's clean (a rarity for Nero in Leeds) and is just a generally nice place to be. “Let me start of by saying that this is my regular coffee store, there are many reasons as to why I choose this particular store and here they are. The staff are always kind and welcoming, no matter the weather or what type of day they are having. They are very careful with the safety measures with all this coronavirus going around. The coffee and other drinks always taste lovely and fresh. The food is delicious and fresh, I always grab a chocolate twist which is fresh and powdery or a warm ham and cheese toastie. The tables are always clean and as soon as someone leaves the staff come over and wipe the tables instantly. Good choice of drinks especially during different seasons! My favourite is the ginger bread hot chocolate during Christmas time. Cups and glasses always look clean and brand new.”

“Great coffee blends. Variety of options for customising your coffee and a lot of breakfast and brunch options. They even have healthier options such as smoothies, yogurt bowls and lot more. It can get real busy on days but mostly it’s easy to find your table and service is great.”
