“I go here to post my Vinted parcels and the people behind the counter are always so lovely, on my 2nd visit the lady remembered my name. They are always happy to help if needed.”
“The staff there are so friendly and lovely, and have a surprisingly large collection of offerings for such a small store. They always make my day!”
“I mean, it's great for frozen food and stuff, you can get loads of things like cans of pop and ice cream and chocolate and bread. But I was looking for food for my farm. There was no chicken feed, no hay, no straw. There was no fertiliser for my potatoes, no plant food. Nothing. So if you want human food, great place to shop. If you want food for your farm, as the name implies, you're out of luck.”
“This store is well stocked and have a great variety of product and produce and the staff are friendly and helpful.”
“I received a home delivery order from Iceland today and half the food I ordered was mouldy & only 9 hours within its sell by date! It was disgusting & almost made me sick! I couldn’t believe they had sold it to me. I raced into the nearest Iceland to return it all immediately. Turns out the food had actually come from the kirkgate branch, and not snowhill. Many thanks to the deputy manager Simon for providing a full refund for the food, despite the mistake being at fault of another branch. I will not be ordering home delivery again, but I am a regular customer of snowhill Iceland & will continue to shop here in the future.”
“Food prices seem to be rising here, once for £80 I could fill the trolly plus some, half full now. Since Covid it seems the global reset has been higher prices for the sake of it. Middle isle isn't what it was, a lot of food in there now.”
“I love this store. Staff are always helpful and get on tills if there are queues. It offers an wide variety of products. It is the cheapest place for dog treats and alcohol free wine.”
“If you're looking for authentic Polish products, Orzełek Polish Shop in Wakefield is the place to go! It's the only shop in the area where you can find a full range of Polish groceries, from traditional meats and dairy to fresh Polish vegetables sourced directly from farmers. The quality of the produce is fantastic, and the selection is unbeatable. Whether you need classic Polish bread, pierogi, or specialty sweets, they have it all. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making every visit a pleasure. A must-visit for anyone who loves Polish food or wants to experience authentic Eastern European flavors!”
“As you would expect from any aldi. Very clean and no issues”
“Can't complain, good variety of items, well stocked. Very clean and presented well. Staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and well situated for the supermarket so buying items between the two is handy.”
“Made a stupid mistake today and forgot to select my personal orders, therefore didn't get my discounted goods. I asked and they kind of worked round it, so that I didn't lose out. 10 out of 10 for honouring my prices”
“All staff was very talkative helpful and extremely pleasant. Was great to see all colleagues getting along.”
“Great grocery shop. Great selection of fresh food. Sometimes you have to be careful. Once I saw stale, mouldy vegetables, but this is quite rare. In any case, I often come to this shop and find everything I need. Also, there is a toilet in the shop. This can be a real lifesaver when it's raining and you want to go to the toilet.”
“Although relatively small the choice is phenomenal! Yes, really, they don't have 500 of each item, but chances are you can get everything to cook a good meal. A reasonable selection of household products, too.”
“My local co-op...always great service and produce....meat pies are so good...full of meat and so tasty...also good offers on red wine. ..!!!”
“Helpful staff, good variety of products”
“Sells mostly everything. Does sell some brand toys at cheap prices so basically a bargain if you end up noticing it. Just pop in because my son tells me to go. Does sell nice stuff”
“It's an aldi so you know what you are going to get. You don't go there for customer service, but if you don't mind fighting with pump trucks and pallets, it's great. However, you are not always going to get what you want. I went to do a shop and was looking for the Aldi version of Baileys that my wife likes. Only a more expensive version was available. I like their 8 (?) For £1 yoghurt, only a more expensive was available . I like their marmalade, and there was none available at all. But as I say, this is Aldi”
“Always treat ourselves now and then to shop here. Great food, good quality and some thing a little different.”
“Great store shelfs allways full, dont like the resident cat tho”
“Excellent range of Polish food.”
“Just what you need to fill your grocery list.”
“Great store. Can get some really good deals here. They have also added self checkout stations to help with contactless shopping which is a brilliant addition to this store which is very well located on trinity. They do also have staff on the tills if you prefer to checkout that way. Staff are always polite and friendly. They have been and still are doing a great job throughout this pandemic. At busy times a staff member is keeping the number of shoppers in store quite low with staff on the door. Good sized store but only issue is that parking isn't very close by if you are disabled.”
“Lovely & Friendly shop keepers love going to the store has I love different cultural backgrounds and food brands some unique foods here.”
“Lovely place clean and tidy pleasant staff I always find everything I need here for my little fur babies. Not as loud as busy as the main road store which I love. If their pet supplies are low the shop next door does the trick. Plus a Maccies on the way out goes down a treat. Love this little shopping area of ours x”
“Very nice shop, lots of room to move around, staff are friendly and patient and nothing is too much to ask for, I live in a different area but well worth the 20 minute walk to this shop.”
“Really great staff. Good range for a small local supermarket.”
“Lovely place with good stuff to shop including electric appliances”
“Great store in an ideal central location. Friendly staff, plenty of options, and a fab food hall.”
