“I was very worried about an eye issue and I had heard of Specsavers via Community Urgent Eyecare Service. I was given an appointment the same day and after extensive eye examination by the ophthalmic Optician I was advised on the treatment and was discharged. It was a great relief to be seen and my issue dealt with so quickly.”

“I wouldn’t normally review supermarket. But I was compelled to this time. This is the most beautifully stocked supermarket I’ve ever seen. (Not that I go round looking for that.) I felt guilty for removing something from the shelf without feeling the need of pulling the one from behind forward as everything was just so easy to see. Massive credit and respect to those filling the shelves here. From a customer perspective it was so easy to find everything. It’s a bit out of the way for me, however I think I’ll be using this more often. The pictures probably don’t do it justice.”

“This store is excellent value for money. They have a wide variety of products too. Just an example, their 1 pint of milk is only 70p! That's 30p cheaper than any where else! Staff are so friendly and helpful. They also have a Paypoint so you can pay bills too! Highly recommended calling in to this shop!”

“I mean, it's great for frozen food and stuff, you can get loads of things like cans of pop and ice cream and chocolate and bread. But I was looking for food for my farm. There was no chicken feed, no hay, no straw. There was no fertiliser for my potatoes, no plant food. Nothing. So if you want human food, great place to shop. If you want food for your farm, as the name implies, you're out of luck.”

“I received a home delivery order from Iceland today and half the food I ordered was mouldy & only 9 hours within its sell by date! It was disgusting & almost made me sick! I couldn’t believe they had sold it to me. I raced into the nearest Iceland to return it all immediately. Turns out the food had actually come from the kirkgate branch, and not snowhill. Many thanks to the deputy manager Simon for providing a full refund for the food, despite the mistake being at fault of another branch. I will not be ordering home delivery again, but I am a regular customer of snowhill Iceland & will continue to shop here in the future.”

“Food prices seem to be rising here, once for £80 I could fill the trolly plus some, half full now. Since Covid it seems the global reset has been higher prices for the sake of it. Middle isle isn't what it was, a lot of food in there now.”

“Great grocery shop. Great selection of fresh food. Sometimes you have to be careful. Once I saw stale, mouldy vegetables, but this is quite rare. In any case, I often come to this shop and find everything I need. Also, there is a toilet in the shop. This can be a real lifesaver when it's raining and you want to go to the toilet.”

“It's an aldi so you know what you are going to get. You don't go there for customer service, but if you don't mind fighting with pump trucks and pallets, it's great. However, you are not always going to get what you want. I went to do a shop and was looking for the Aldi version of Baileys that my wife likes. Only a more expensive version was available. I like their 8 (?) For £1 yoghurt, only a more expensive was available . I like their marmalade, and there was none available at all. But as I say, this is Aldi”
