“My daughter attends this pre-school, excellent nursery, my daughter is always excited to go and always happy and tired after a great day! This nursery is a non profit charity and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nursery for there child or children.”
“Our son attended playgroup and he absolutely loved it. Every day he ran in no problem, often too excited to take his bag and say bye to us! He spoke about the staff a lot which was lovely, saying they were his friends and that he wanted to work there when he was older. Often on a weekend he would ask to go see them. The setting is perfect for little ones to develop, indoor play with all different stations, crafts, reading area etc. a playground with play huts, sandpit, bikes etc. A woodland area with all sorts of outdoor activities. Access to the sports fields where they do fitness and sports. The orchard and woods where they do forest school. There really is so much for them to do. Since starting at playgroup he has gained so much confidence and made loads of friends. Most of which are going to Bishopthorpe Infant School. This meant when he attended taster sessions his friends were there and they were all excited to go to big school. Attending playgroup has given him the best possible start for school. Thank you for being amazing :)”
“Brilliant nursery the staff are so attentive and caring. Our son has been there for 2+ years and he has come on leaps ands bounds. I can't recommend highly enough!”

“What a fabulous team! I would highly recommend this nursery. The place is beautiful and the staff make it a home from home. They are very responsive to individual needs and very inclusive. The new reduced flexible prices are also a real bonus.”
“A lovely place to send children. The staff are polite and respecful.”
“What a fantastic place for kids this is! Best nursery in the area. Plenty of activities, animals, a lot of space and outdoor fun. You get photos of your child activities daily and you can trace the progress of your little one online, you also get a lot of feedback from friendly staff. My little one just loves it and I think he will be disappointed to leave this place when the school time will come.”
“Fantastic nursery, staff are lovely.”
“My little boy Joel attended this nursery for two years and I couldn’t recommend it more. Amazing staff who couldn’t do enough for Joel during his time at nursery, and a wonderful environment. Joel loved going to nursery and still talks about it now :-)”
“Good and trustworthy and safe environment.”
“My son attended Freoebelian and I have nothing but praise for the school with him receiving a scholarship at Woodhouse Grove. My daughter is now thriving in her last year at the school. You can see why it is the top independent prep school in Leeds and why the school is No. 9 in The Sunday Times Top Prep School listing.”
“Two of our children have attended here: my daughter, for a year, and my son, who's currently been there almost two terms. They have both been extremely happy, settled and confident at preschool. Wendy, the manager, is a very warm, kind lady who puts new parents and children instantly at ease. She and the (small, close-knit) team are happy for you to stay with your kids for as long as you want in order to settle them in. Ours have absolutely thrived here, learning how to get along with other little ones, developing practical skills (like drinking from an open cup at snack time), and also learning lots of new things (more complex shapes, e.g. hexagon, and numbers, songs, letters, colours, etc)! Wendy is always happy for parents to pop in and visit -- you don't have to go at a special time or anything, you can just come and see what goes on. Most children go for a visit the term before they start, to get an idea of what preschool is like.”
“Amazing school with amazing staff I enjoyed my time there and it was very sad to leave From Awais”
“Excellent nursery. Friendly staff who know what they are doing.”
“My daughter has been since spring. She absolutely loves it and I feel choosing it as a nursery was the best decision I could have made. Kind, caring and consistent staff, lots of outdoor time, different activities and a sensible approach have made it the perfect choice.”
