“Amazing food. Nice little bread entrees. Starters were lovely. Nice pate, mozzarella triangles. The ribs were insane. The lasagna was too hot to eat so took it home and was lovely. Chicken liver and calzone all amazing. Price for 5 drinks(one bottle of wine) 5 starters and mains 175. Can't wait to go back!”

“Came here for a lunchtime meal with a group from work. The food was amazing - even simple starters / sides tasted so good. The mains were also really well prepared and all tasted delicious and full of flavour. The staff are efficient and friendly. I definitely want to go back again and sample some more dishes from the menu.”

“Very tasty food for a reasonable price. We especially liked shrimps, tasted very much liked from Sardinian and mushroom risotto. Calamari in seafood salad were very good too. Wine was ok Be aware that you need to bring cash as they don’t accept card payment”

“This is our go to place. Food is great and the staff are fantastic. Our visit today was for my daughter’s birthday and after a tasty meal they brought her a cake with sparkler on top. This was done by the staff without us asking and we thought it was a loverly gesture. We would recommend a visit and we are definitely returning. Thank you to everyone at craven kitchen.”

“It may be an Italian in a small village but the food , service and atmosphere is one that belongs in a Michelin Star restaurant. Ameer works front of house and when needs is also a dab hand in the kitchen . His staff whilst local and young are all friendly and it’s great to see a local restaurant employing local staff . The Italian Chef Pepe is amazing and between my fiancé and I we have had the whole menu from salads to steaks , pasta to sorbet and the food is always delicious and exceptional and exceptional value for money . I cannot wait to fetch 40 something of my friends for my Hen Do and introduce them all to the best hidden Italian gem in the county . You were the best find 4 years ago and will continue to be our place to go for special occasions or just like tonight Bob in for tea after a busy weekend.”

“What an absolute gem of a find! I had a full English breakfast and it was fresh and it was tasty! I met 2 friends here, and that was perfect, there is one large dinner table, dressed like it was the one at your parents house in the 90's. There is also some window seating and some benches outside when the weather is slightly more agreeable. Clearly a popular destination as there were plenty of 'yokshur' folk coming in for bacon butties and B.E.S.T. A running theme being people in High Viz and rigger boots ready for the days graft. Parking wise there are a couple of spaces out front, as well as on street parking. Proper salt of the earth place, would recommend!”

“The food here is to an amazing standard you can tell that its quality and it’s always well presented, I would recommend the breakfast which is a favorite of mine or the chicken rice and dumplings are always a winner! You can ask for sides also e.g Mac and cheese or coleslaw!! The breakfast comes clean with no weird black burnt bits stuck to my bacon or eggs and the oil is always clean! Defo my favorite place by far!”

“Just moved to Ossett so this was our first time going to Gandhi Spice, it did not disappoint. Food was spot on. I asked Ali the owner what he would recommend and told me about a few of the dishes he thought I would like as I don't like it spicy, I ended up with the Lamb Handi and it was so flavoursome. Kahim, sorry if I've spelt that wrong was such a lovely waiter, so polite and attentive. Bounus is that they sell alcohol. Highly recommend this restaurant.”

“The first time ordering from Indian Spice and I'm pleased to say it won't be the last, the portions are a good size, the price was good too. Delivery was just over an hour, but was told to expect this from a friend who orders regularly. It was well worth the wait.”

“Popped in for a quick coffee, carrot cake and fizz (for the wife). Place was set away from the main strip so not as busy with lots of indoor seating. Was served quickly and staff were friendly. There was a gift shop attached to the cafe which had some traditional as well as quirky gifts so worth a visit.”

“I’m really impressed with this takeaway. I want to give them a 5 star. We ordered here once while we were on our trip to Leeds as it was close to our accommodation. Their food was very delicious. We loved everything we ordered from here. We are vegetarian and usually don’t have a lot of options. We love how they have both tofu and mock chicken and their mock chicken was very delicious. Their mock chicken salt and pepper was the best! We were absolutely happy to get 5 dishes for only 25 pounds too, as they offered a 10% discount if you pick up. Very very good value for money. The lady (probably store owner) was also very nice to us. Overall, we would love to order from them again if we will go to Leeds. Wish it was near home. We would be regular customers 100%.”

It's very rare to get this type of customer service from delivery drivers they either cannot speak english and dont smile. Well done pizza parada”

“By far the best takeaway I have been to! The quality of the food is amazing and I'd say better than most restaurants, yet cheaper! If you order different curries each will be made differently, no shortcuts like using the same sauce, and everything is delicious. The spicy curries aren't just hot but also tasty and at a level which still makes it enjoyable. The Bahjis are the best I've ever tasted, even from Restaurants! They are also very good at pizzas, chips, burgers, kebabs and they even did southern fried chicken at one point. I've ordered from them for a long time and they have never let me down. I can't reccomend this place enough, just the perfect takeaway!”
