When I arrived, Gary spent time checking each tyre carefully, answering all my questions, giving me excellent advice, and importantly reassuring me that everything was good. This is what quality customer service looks like: someone who listens, who takes time to make you feel safe, who doesn’t try to upsell just for the sake of it, but who genuinely cares about your safety. Gary’s professionalism, kindness, and reassurance turned what could have been a stressful situation into a confidence-boosting one. I couldn’t recommend Gary more highly. “I needed a competition clutch set up for a Talbot Sunbeam Lotus rally car. This is a 1979 car which makes it a little different. After a chat with Mick on the phone I took the existing pressure plate, flywheel, clutch plate and release bearing up to CG in Leeds. After a good discussion about what I needed Mick offered to make a paddle clutch plate to suit my vehicle and we stuck with the standard pressure plate to make frequent changes easier. Picked up the new plate only a day later, fabulous quality of work (and as an engineer I know what I'm talking about). It's not so common these days to find a company who have the expertese to interpret your requirements and the skills to then produce the high quality product. This company is a real 5 star find recommended to me by a fellow rally driver that had a similar experience dealing with CG Motorsport.”
