“Delicious meal, and extremely good value. Dropped in on a Sunday, and they do a very good 4-course meal for £11.95 which is a bit of a steal! We started with poppadoms and dips, and we then were able to choose our starters, main and sides. The onion bhajis and tandoori chicken were tasty light. We enjoyed the sizzling king prawn to follow as well as a lamb dish, plus naan and pilau rice. Service was quick and the staff were friendly.”

“We went for the Sunday dinner and we weren't disappointed! They serving home cooked meals that are really tasty. The two of us enjoyed the imaginative work of the Chef. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. A very reasonable prices and great selection of drinks. Before we left, I ordered homemade pizza to take home which was also delicious.”

“I myself recently set foot in the pleasantly imposing local pub of whom adjacent to one-way road, and wide lane, I even went there with my P.A. to play darts, Also, It's the very first time visiting the place on the inside 'in-person' we (my P.A. and myself) played darts, even tried the soft drink/pints just as superb as any other pubs' pints put-together, I hopefully plan on revisiting the commerical inn, occasionally, within the foreseeable future. Couldn't recommend the place enough, even though it's a one-of-a-kind sort of local pub through & through.”

“5 stars is an understatement for this amazing bar and restaurant! I got a hallumi gyro which was the most delicious gyro I had ever eaten. Everyone I was with really enjoyed their meal. We also had 2 rounds of cocktails which were gorgeously presented in lovely glasses with fruit etc. They also tasted lovely. The staff were very friendly and responsive. I would definitely reccomend this restaurant to anyone! When we got there at 5.30 there were some families with children, however past about 6.30 the atmosphere was much more lively which was great!”

“I ordered food for me and my family. The roast pork noodle box was scorching hot, tasted amazingly and tasted home made which was amazing me and my family really enjoyed it. The prawns I ordered were amazing and 100% one of the best prawns we have all had (even my dad has a few even though he usually doesn’t eat prawns that must say something). The ribs were so soft and were tearing off of the bone, they were just gorgeous. We also received 4 pepsi’s, prawns crackers and fortune cookie for free which we are all thankful for. We would also like to say a huge thank you to the cooks, owners and the owners daughter which is my friend. Also thank you to whoever picked out our fortune cookies this was our first time and they were scarily correct and fit us all very well.100% ordering again!”

“This is a great traditional pub with friendly staff and customers. Very reasonably priced drinks and comfortable, clean seating and tables. It is lovely to have somewhere so welcoming to pop into for a break whilst you are out shopping. Our dog likes it too, thanks”

“My family and I recently had a fantastic experience at Valentinos. The restaurant manager, Carlos, was the consummate host, with a comprehensive command of the menu, and able to offer a brilliant recommendation. Our drinks waiter, Giorgio, was extremely attentive and interacted wonderfully with our children; and Ryan, who dealt with our food, treated us like royalty. A class act all round.”

“After a long hike in the rain me and my partner stopped for a bite to eat and a drink at this quaint little pub. The staff were lovely and dried our coats by the fire while we got some delicious food. For anyone looking for a digital detox and some great conversation be sure to pop in if you’re in the area.”

“This place has a lovely atmosphere with professional and friendly staff who were very attentive and willing to ensure that we were most comfortable. They gladly relocated us within the restautrant as a member of my party needed extra support as a result of her less obvious disability. The food was well presented and absolutely delicious and there were really good choices and a variety of food available on the menu. In spite of the fact that the place was very busy with lots of diners in to watch the football, the staff did check us often to make sure that we were ok, comfortable and satisfied with our meals. My friend was there before and recommended the restaurant and I certainty was not disappointed. I will definitely be going there again in the future.”

“The broken bridge is a nice cosy wetherspoons pub with an outside seating area. There is an extensive range of beers lager and cider including six hand pulled cask conditioned real ales some i have not seen before, the ramsgate gadds she sells seashells was particularly good. The ones we sampled were in excellent condition. The staff are very friendly and efficient the service was quick despite the pub being very busy. I will definitely come back next time i am in the area.”

“We visited the Alium Restaurant for the Vegan menu. I am pescatarian hence we went for this menu. Wow is all I can say. The food, wine flight, and service was incredible. The chef Luke came out to explain a number of the dishes personally and was incredibly helpful. We have tried to book for the next Vegan week but they haven’t released the dates yet! I am fortunate enough to have eaten all over the world in some incredible restaurants, this beats them all and it is in our home town!”
