“Handy little shop to drop in on. Usually, I picked up some milk, pop, or bread when passing by. They have ample parking for the size of the store and some disabled bays. There are self-service tills, so there no need to wait for a server if you don't need alcohol/cigarettes/lottery tickets, etc”

“Can't fault the staff here at all. They are always welcoming, chatty, interested and helpful. There have been times when they have bent over backwards to help and others where they have just been really kind. When I had a ridiculously swollen arm from an insect bite, they got me a glass of water there and then to take the antibiotics without me asking. On another occasion, the pharmacist spotted an infection in my 2-week old daughter, which doctors had initially brushed off, which involved her being hospitalised for 3 days - had this been left, she would have been very poorly. They make a fuss of my baby whenever we go in (the same with any child, and they know the names of so many, too), they've saved me money by applying coupons I didn't know about, they don't just sell you the most expensive product there...the list goes on. If you want a service which is personal and genuinely friendly, this is the place. :) (Re: opening times, they're the same as the doctors, pretty much. It's not 24 hours. If you want a late opening place, try Glasshoughton Asda.)”

“I absolutely love shopping here! The store is clean, well-maintained, and always stocked with fresh products. The team is friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help if you need anything. They have a great selection of groceries, snacks, chilled drinks, frozen food, and everyday essentials. Prices are competitive and they frequently restock new items. A fantastic neighbourhood shop that truly cares about customers. Highly recommended!”

“The Prince of Wales charity shop is a true treasure trove for bargain hunters and fashion enthusiasts alike. With its well-stocked rails and friendly staff, it has become a favourite destination for those seeking quality items at unbeatable prices. One of the standout features of the Prince of Wales is its impressive selection of men's clothing. Whether you're in need of a smart button-down shirt or casual attire, you'll find a diverse range of options to choose from. During my last visit, I was delighted to discover a selection of branded shirts, including names like Penguin and Ben Sherman, all at incredibly affordable prices. In fact, I managed to snag five shirts for just £5 – a deal that's hard to beat anywhere else. But the offerings at the Prince of Wales extend beyond clothing. The shop boasts a wide array of DVDs and books, catering to diverse interests and tastes. Whether you're a film buff or a bookworm, you're sure to find something that catches your eye among their shelves. The bric wall is another highlight of the shop, featuring an eclectic mix of unique items that add character and charm to any home. From decorative ornaments to vintage finds, there's always something interesting to discover. What truly sets the Prince of Wales apart, however, is its friendly and welcoming staff. Always ready to assist customers with a smile, they create a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes every visit a pleasure. In summary, the Prince of Wales charity shop earns a well-deserved five-star rating for its excellent selection, unbeatable prices, and outstanding customer service. Whether you're on the hunt for fashionable clothing,”
