I visited with my partner/fiance and we went away and compared prices and quality at jewellers at Meadowhall the quality of the stones and uniqueness of pieces at Ogdens was far superior. As for the price, it's comparable. If you want to buy run-of-the-mill jewellery that everyone will buy then go to your high street store ( and you'll still pay a lot for it) if you want quality stones and high-end metals that are special then Ogdens is worth a visit.”

“Dear Hoodoo Crew, What can I say? Absolute first class customer service throughout the whole process from inception to aftercare. My last tattoo was around 35 years ago when I was 19 or 20. Haven’t times changed? My Mother recently died and I wanted a lasting memory of her. (She and I both loved the Red Kites soaring over Harrogate, I thought a tattoo of one would be a fitting tribute) My email inquiry was answered promptly the next morning by Andre, I explained I was only available on weekends due to work/family commitments then the whole process inc T&C’s were explained. Andre told me it may be difficult due to the weekend situation and would be in touch once he was available. Having looked at his work on line as much as I could (being an old geezer who doesn’t like social media) I was extremely impressed and was happy to wait until he was free. That Saturday I received a message saying “he was available for a session on Sunday (the next day) if I could make it” If I didn’t do it then I may have talked myself out of it, so arranged the appointment and paid my deposit. We spent almost an hour sat at the computer (choosing an image then sizing and printing the image in various configurations and taping them to my leg to check that we were both happy with the end result) I am most certainly happy with the end result. Thank You Andre, you are a true artist! Thank you also for juggling your own family commitments to suit mine. Myself or any of my friends/colleagues have ever heard of/or been asked to return to the studio 2 days later for an inspection and cleaning/redressing of the tattoo. Customer service second to none!! My Red Kite looks a bit lonely on his own so I have some ideas I will run past you next year once we are healed. What an experience, keep it up all of you! Thanks and regards! Mick”

“Excellent service. Needed new tyres quickly before going on a trip but didn’t want just basic ones; they ordered a set of 4 Continental tyres within a couple of hours and fitted them in no time. “Beautiful shop, wide selection, kind and caring staff, good prices. All in all just a great shop, the staff were friendly and informative. The selection was a wide variety of cigars. In the shop besides from cigars is a hide gollection of cigar accessories such as ashtrays, lighters, cutters and the most beautiful humidors I have ever seen. There were beautiful chesterfield armchairs in the middle of the shop, although disappointing not being able to smoke in the shop, they provide a smoking space just in the front of the shop providing ashtrays, cutters and lighters and more comfortable chairs. 10/10, here comes a regular customer!!”

“I recently had my roof renewed. This was a self build so we didn't use anyone for the building or roofing work. We stripped our roof and didn't want the original tiles from the 1950's to go waste. Thankfully, Hunslet roofing and reclamation yard were there to step in and help. They communicated well and told me exactly how to stack them on the pallets. They collected in good time once they were palleted up and gave me a fair price. I was happy with the service and price paid and more than anything I was happy to see my old roof tiles go to a new home instead of a skip!”
