“Andrew Chell was a great landlord for us. He got issues sorted the very next day, and he was lenient when it came to rent and other issues. His communication was great and made our stay very easy and stress free. I would highly recommend :)”
“Just driving through as I was only dropping off at the university. But, it looks great, lots of buildings, people, and atmosphere.”
“Love the quality of pools and professional staff”
“Very lovely place, great ambience and accessible doors.”
“Absolutely amazing, My grandson loves Saturday morning because of stagecoach, His confidence has rocketed. He love all aspects of time he's there. All tutors are Absolutely amazing and so kind. This has been the best thing we have done for him. Keep up the amazing work, u guys do..”
“We viewed lots of nurserys throughout Leicestershire before selecting this one. It's THAT good. Some of the reasons we love it are... They make a huge effort to be kind to the environment by using wooden toys and teaching children how to look after flora and fauna. They even make their own play dough! The building is large and the gardens have beautiful established trees for summer shade. The kids even nap outside in the summer, it's the cutest thing to see. They make great use of the uni facilities; taking the kids out to see the fountain, fruit trees and basketball pitches. And because the campus has lecturers from other countries, there's babies from other countries. They all celebrate all the different cultures with joy and pride! The carers rejoice in the kids' achievements as much as the parents do. It's so heartwarming to read the updates on the app. For us, we were also impressed with the number of males in care roles, which is a rare thing to find, but establishes healthy gender norms from a young age. The menu is spot on. Great quality diverse food. And meal times are structured so that kids can learn to be independent and varied eaters. Our son certainly has a rich and fulfilling time there and they definitely offer him a wider variety of activities than we would at home. Overall the atmosphere and culture is uncomparible; in our search for the right nursery, nothing came close to this. And finally, it's right next to a coffee shop that sells great coffee so I order and pay for my latte, nip next door to drop my son off, then nip back to collect my coffee. It's heaven!”
“The Best College and, in my view, the only college to go to in the UK. Formally known as RNIB Vocational College, it is renowned for its unique work with Visually Impaired adults. I would give this College 5 Stars immediately, and I should know, I went there. It's a wonderful place and the tutors were wonderful to me with my various stays there. I was even their Telephone and reception Operator. Does anyone remember me at the College? At the time, it was a residential College, in conjunction with Loughborough University. I wonder if these two people are still at the College? Lou and Paul Cardwell. Does anyone remember the Mayor's Parade which I organised, back in the 90s? The infamous Bed Push, dressed as Doctors and Nurses? Eddie, Helping us out with the drinks along the way. The place brings happy memories to me, workwise and recreational times. Say hello if you are still there. I know that some of the tutors have passed away. I would like to know if Mr Jackman, the Principal, at the time I was there. All in all, a superb place to train in, whatever course you wanted. With Very Best Wishes from Nigel in Stourport, Worcestershire.”
“The hotel room was so clean and tidy, I would give this a higher star if possible. The service of the team from start to finish was amazing, they were so friendly and helped with any of my enquiries. I would recommend staying here and if I need to, I’d most definitely stay here again.”
“Amazing experience at Lough college, great teachers who helped me get great results! Highly recommend!”

“Recent visit and really impressed with the place and the property office”
“.... possibly the world's best school (talking from experience).”
“An excellent stay made more perfect by the in-room fridge and the really varied (athlete friendly) hot and continental breakfast options. Staff have all scored "above and beyond" for professionalism and friendliness.”
“I've always had a great experience and quality whenever I come here, which is about a year now. Never been a set of nails I haven't liked, and they last well over 3 weeks. Plus all the ladies are lovely and skilled so it doesn't matter if your usual tech is booked up. Also it's really convenient being able to manage the appointment online. Super recommend, I mention how good this place is every time someone comments on my nails, would never go anywhere else❤️❤️”
“Lovely day out, feel looked after and in the loop throughout my trip by staff. Good driving and well mannered drive. Bus was modern and smart, with usb charging points and handy loo on board. Will definately be booking more! Leave that car at home and treat yourself to a relaxed day trip ☺”
“CLOSED - The Welbeck College was closed in Sept 2021. It was renamed MOD Garats Way and is used as a Medical & Training facility.”
“A great little coffee shop, with friendly and happy staff. Plenty of seating, including outside seating, with loads of charging sockets.”
“Beautiful vistas from the front. Moderate sized rooms but very well kept. Nice decor. Very inviting. Stunning entrance and a free fancy cookie!!!! Staff were very happy to help even with our silly questions of asking where obvious things were. Whilst the big pool was currently down for upgrades. The on premises gym (with a moderate amount but good variety of equipment), pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room were all wonderful, clean and relatively spacious. The lockers however are finicky. The guy behind the desk was happy to help when my partner had trouble opening hers. (Note. Remember your locker number as theres no tag or key to remind you). The restaurant onsite is beautiful. Quiet when we went and service was very nice and honestly above what we've come to expect from hotels. Good banter and down to earth but always with an air of respect. (Note. If you want to tip. Go and pay at the bar. They can't do it via the table ones payment systems). 9.9/10. (Because no free biscuit in the room)”
“Got a last minute place when needed a room at short notice. Got the last room. Staff wonderful, calm when I was stressed and very friendly. Room immaculately clean even though I was not expected. Easy parking on front or car park behind property.”
