“Bijou is a lovely place to just come and see the films on, or if you are having a function. We had a birthday party, and Andy was very accommodating for helping us sort out where our outside catering would go, DJ, arranging the tables to allow a dance floor area, arranging the downstairs area to allow a sweet and cake cart. And they have a good range of drinks available on tap upstairs or bottle/cans downstairs.”

“Nice, cosy theatre, with wide, comfy seats, and lots of leg room. Staff are friendly and helpful, and there's a good selection of drinks and snacks in the bar areas.”

“Joseph was fantastic. As a music teacher I have been involved in performances seen the professional performance. This was the best ever. The cast musicians stage producers etc. Put everything into achieving an extremely high standard. Loved it. Really felt I had my moneys worth”

“A recent renovation brings this movie theatre back into the 21st century with improved seating, improved sound and an all round better experience. Prices have been sadly increased but it’s a small price to pay for the whole experience.”

“Thank you for an accessible experience! We were visiting Southport as we do at least once a year from stockport. Our usual changing places toilets were closed (market hall). We were amazed to find one here so close to the other. A kind lady working there (didnt catch her name sorry) escorted us to the changing places on the first floor. We were a little pushed for time but now we know this is here we will be visiting properly to view the exhibitions. A stunning building too.”
