“The Bow Legged Beagle Upton: A Truly Cracking Spot for a Pint Proper little gem, this place! The Bow Legged Beagle in Upton is just the ticket if you're after somewhere genuinely cosy with a cracking atmosphere. It's got that lovely, welcoming feel as soon as you walk in, making it super easy to relax and settle in. For us real ale fans, it's a bit of a paradise. They've always got a constantly changing line-up of real ales on, which is brilliant because there's always something new to try. And the best part? The real ale is always really reasonably priced, which is a breath of fresh air these days! And if craft beer is more your thing, you're still well looked after. They've got an extensive collection on tap, plus a fridge packed with cans and bottles. Whatever you fancy, chances are they've got it. Service here is spot on too. The staff are genuinely friendly and really know their stuff when it comes to the beers they're serving. Happy to chat and give recommendations if you're not sure what to go for. Honestly, if you're in Upton and fancy a top-notch pint in a relaxed and friendly setting, you really can't go wrong with The Bow Legged Beagle. Highly recommend!”

“Went with a friend last night for the 1st time. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Good selection of dishes on the menu, veggie options good as well. The highlight for me was sticky toffee pudding. They have a 25% off your food bill during the week at the moment, so well worth a visit.”

“This is my top restaurant in Liverpool — a Greek place with really nice staff and reasonable prices. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been there! It’s my go-to spot whenever I want to celebrate something. I highly recommend this restaurant if you haven’t tried it yet. The meat sharing platter is one of my favourites too!”

“Clare provided a hot and cold buffet for our daughter’s naming day. She was so accommodating and guests raved on the food. Thank you!”

“This place is amazing. The decor inside is precise and gorgeous. The staff we met were polite and so attentive. The food and drinks were served quickly and what I had, chicken satay skewers, was the very very very nice! There's also something for everyone as the menu is is about 6 pages! They do chicken nuggets and chips for those not fussed on trying the Chinese food. The food was reasonably priced. Not extortionate and not too cheap, a fair price that I could agree with. The music was calm and not played too loud like some places do and the table was laid out beautifully. Honestly I don't think I really have a bad thing to say about it. I am disappointed by the comments about staff not understanding English that I've seen in other reviews. Personally I thought their English was very good provided we spoke clearly (not mumbled) and in all honesty to have a go at that would be ridiculous when going to a Chinese restaurant! Hearing the staff speak mandarin arround us added to authenticity of the place and we didnt have any communication issues at all and if we had it wouldnt have been a problem! Honestly though the food is nice and the decor is beautiful, genuinely beautiful. Definitely worth trying if you haven't been before and ill be coming back and recommending it to others alike!”

“Brilliant food, friendly staff, amazing value for money. Treat loyal customers brilliantly. 2 pizzas for 9.99. my partner loves the kebab meat from here as it isn't dripping with grease. Just a generally great takeaway. Wouldnt go anywhere else now!”

“Me and my partner have gone there 3 times in the best 2 weeks we just can’t get enough. They have a meal deal for 2 which is incredible value for money. We get vegetable samosas and meat samosas, chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, onion bhajis, 2 x pilau rice and a naan all for under £22. We were also given a free papadom last time we went. All the food is freshly prepared and my partner is not picky at all but I’m incredibly picky and I love it. Feels like going out for a proper expensive meal but at home and you’re actually really full after. Best Indian would definitely recommend”

“Ordered bbq chicken and meat feast pizza and a chicken kebab. Have ordered a few times now and food is always amazing and freshly made. Staff are super friendly and polite. This is a family favourite and we will definitely be ordering again”
