“What a find! Our usual café of choice for brunch when we are down in Tettenhall was fully booked so we tried Vanilla. We were given a very warm welcome, were seated immediately by a friendly & efficient waitress and we both thoroughly enjoyed a delicious & generous full english. We returned 5 days later and had the same experience. On this occasion I had the avocado smash & my husband a breakfast sandwich. Yummy & great VfM. They have a loyalty coupon too. We'll definitely be back to our new café of choice!”

“What an incredible find! Shifnal is housing a fabulous little restaurant immaculate interior with wooden beams and Harry Potter under stairs toilet it’s quirky! From steamed table cloths lovely cutlery crockery and glassware it’s floorless! The food was incredible great flavours and really felt like the chef was taking time to create every dish. Nice wine and tasty passionfruit martinis. I think it’s our new favourite. Definitely an adults only escape for couples and small groups not for loud people!”

“Visited Penn Tandoori for the first time for a friend’s birthday and really enjoyed the new thalis. Portions were small but there was plenty overall, and it was great value at £14.95. The staff gave a good explanation of everything and the service was excellent. They also have a bar. Would definitely return in the future.”

The oxtail was amazing – the meat was tender and falling off the bone, and the sauce was full of flavor. Everything was fresh and smelled delicious. “I ordered takeaway therefore can not review the atmosphere and service. I am only writing this review to let you guys know that the food from here is perfect. I had an egg fried rice, plain naan, paneer tikka masala, chicken tikka masala and fried salmon. Every dish was perfect. Fast delivery and also bonus they gave us pompadours with mint sauce and salad. If you are hesitant, dont be, order here or go to the restaurant in person.”

“What a restaurant! If your in the area and appreciate amazing food look no further! We Started with Fresh poppadoms with very tasty Dips and onion salad whilst pondering over a lovely menu which is a Set 2 courses priced at £35 including rice or Naan. For Starters we chose, Vegtable Pakora, Paneer Tikka and Masala Fish, perfectly presented with amazing flavours. Then for mains the Chef asked me if I’d fancy trying something slightly different from the menu as he had been slow cooking some lamb shanks in spices for a few hours. How could I resist? And what great decision it was ! My son went for the ‘Bilash Super’ , My wife chose Aloo Gobi Masala and we shared Saffron rice and delicious Garlic naans. The food was mind blowing! All washed down with a few Cobras and a bottle of wine we Finished off with a very refreshing Cheesecake accompanied with fresh fruit and mango sauce. Just Perfect ! Overall the whole experience was amazing and we can’t wait to return. Thanks to Mo and the Bilash team, see you soon!”

“We haven't dined here for over 2 yrs as last time was a bad experience.... but glad we went back today ( 10/10/25). The food was out of this world. The service was exceptional, we even asked if they could cook us some plain noodles and they obliged with no problems. We even ordered a birthday cake surprise for my wife. We arrived around 4pm and had a good 2 hrs in there. The seafood selection was fantastic and the other dishes were lovely. English / Chinese / Indian and pizza. The tepinyaki station looked like nobody was available but we asked the question and they were there within a minute. We will definitely be going again soon.”

“Went to the gatehouse yesterday with the family for the first time since the reopening and I have to say it was an amazing experience. Me and the family got a mix of the new menu and the Christmas menu and it was amazing and cooked beautifully. The staff were welcoming and attentive so I was very pleased with the service we received. Definitely would recommend!!!!”
