βWe had a wonderful meal at Heath House Kitchen! The quality and taste of all the food is incredible. Lots of locally sourced food across all their seasonal menus which is great. The service was fantastic β the servers were so lovely and friendly, and really went out of their way to accommodate us wherever they could. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable.β
βAmazing food, great service. Go for quiche, mixed salad and some cajun potatoes. Carrot and ginger super smoothie is also worth a go!β

βWe have now tried a number of different dishes from βSuper Tastyβ ... and my word, the food is delicious! Home made every day, a variety of recipes ... with all manner of sandwiches, cakes, breakfasts (before 11AM) and ... most impressively, genuine Italian pastas dishes ... itβs well worth a trip if you are travelling through Fenton!β

ββThe Habitat: Atmosphere and Environmental Fitness βThe environment of 'La Lanterna' demonstrates a remarkable adaptation for conviviality. The lighting levels were found to be optimal, avoiding both the harsh luminosity that might signal danger and the deep gloom that impedes accurate species identification. The overall ambianceβthe combination of visual, auditory, and olfactory stimuliβcreated an environment of 'Great Atmosphere', which is crucial for the successful ingestion and digestion of resources. βThe collective murmur of conversation among fellow consumers suggested a high degree of social satisfaction within the population. βThe dΓ©cor and spatial arrangement demonstrated an intelligent, calculated use of resources to promote comfort and repose, thus aiding the consumer in focusing maximum energy on the task of consumption. βHypothesis on Atmosphere: A pleasing and supportive environment reduces the consumer's physiological stress, likely enhancing the perceived success and enjoyment of the culinary offering. βThe Symbionts: Facilitation and Service βThe indigenous personnel responsible for the delivery and explanation of the specimensβthe service staffβdisplayed a highly evolved degree of efficiency and beneficial interaction. Their performance may be classified as 'Fantastic Service'. βEfficiency: The speed and accuracy of resource transfer (the food delivery) exhibited a high level of learned behavior and organizational skill. βAdaptability: Requests for minor deviations from the standard specimen preparation were met with flexible and immediate responses, highlighting a key trait of behavioural plasticity essential for pleasing a diverse consumer base. βCommunication: The interactions were polite and informative, acting as crucial intermediaries between the kitchen's production and the consumer's need for knowledge regarding the specimens. βHypothesis on Service: The facilitating species (staff) exhibits a successful symbiotic relationship with the consumer. Their competent actions maximize the consumer's enjoyment, thereby increasing the likelihood of resource return (patronage), a crucial factor in the establishment's long-term survival and prosperity. βFinal Synthesis on La Lanterna βLa Lanterna represents a highly successful ecosystem where excellent culinary specimens (Gnocchi Gorgonzola and Steak Pasta) are presented in an environment of Great Atmosphere and facilitated by Fantastic Service. This convergence of high-quality internal and external factors ensures the enterprise's evolutionary advantage in the competitive landscape of the urban dining habitat. β Outstanding.β

βDecided to book in for a Sunday lunch after reading some other reviews. Really happy that we did as we were served a great Sunday lunch. We all had starters, myself going for the mussels which didn't disappoint and were well presented and very tasty coupled with a nice portion size as were the other starters. We all went for the giant Yorkshire pudding which contains all other elements of this amazing lunch, parsnips, carrots, broccoli, red cabbage, roast and mashed potato and stuffing. The veg was cooked perfectly for us, still having that little bit of bite, nothing was overcooked and it was all piping hot and tasty. By far one of the nicest Sunday lunches that you would possibly compare to one of your own, but without the effort of cooking it yourself. We will be back for this again and to try out some of the other items on the menu.β
βAfter a day at the leek beer festival yesterday a visit here on way home was essential! Open on Sundays from 8am! Two one piece breakfasts with tea, Β£13 all in, very nice too! Will pop in again when next over Leek way!β
βBrilliant place to eat, the food is superb, cooked fresh, always hot at your plate, couldn't ask for better I have never been disappointed.β
βOrdered food for a wedding for 40people. Service was excellent, staff helped us decide on the menu, great communication regarding services and very fair price. Food arrived on time and was delicious. Even had some left over to have seconds. Highly recommend.β
βWent in to order, first time there. Lovely staff, nice atmosphere, good value. 15/10 food - really impressed. Will be going back :)β
βGreat food at lunchtime, with full flavour.β
βMost delicious authentic takeaway we've ever had. Brilliant service, quick delivery, bit expensive and portion size could be better but definitely will be ordering again.β
βHad an amazing time here! our food was amazing really nice one of the better places around. Additional mention for our server Amy! Who actually is a credit to the owners. Attentive and actually cared. Lovely place easily recommend.β
βLovely place, really cosy and great set up, tiered menu with a 3 dish set price based on what tier the dishes were in. This meant you could have a smaller amount of 3 things to rather than choosing 1 dish - great for the indecisive like me!! All 3 dishes were delicious, and I even took some home so small doesn't mean that small. Will absolutely be back, there's another 30 dishes I need to try!!β
βTom was really lovely, friendly and attentive - always kept checking on us to make sure we didnβt need anything else. Food was pretty good, not much cheese on the garlic bread but not fuming about it or anything & pasta was lovely.β
βLoved this place. Reasonably priced buffet Indian food. Soft drinks included. No alcohol licence but you can bring your own booze. Friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.β
βWe have visited this restaurant on two occasions now both times for the pizza which is very tasty and a good size. We normally go around 3.30 / 4pm on a Sunday as it's not to busy and enjoy a seat by the window. The service is good but I did feel it was a little rushed this last time as maybe staff were looking for something to do. Sorry who wants to rush on a Sunday?? That's why I have given 4 stars.β
βAbsolutely delightful eatery, food was scrummy and staff couldnβt do enough for us. Made me have an epiphany on the drive back home so would definitely recommendβ
βWhat a brilliant hidden gem with a fantastic menu and lovely team. It was quiet when we went but booking is advised as it gets busy especially in the summer with the canal boats. Will be back againβ
βNot been tean chippy for a few years and it was delicious, we went on a Friday at tea time and had to wait ages but all good chippies are the same , worth the waitβ
βAmazing venue, everywhere looks really funky great music playing. Service was good. Ordered 3 tapas plates each- quite big portions we couldnβt finish it all. All lovely The rustic bread with olive oil turned out to be toasted too much which meant it was a too hard around all edges and not great for dipping as didnβt absorb the oil- Iβm sure this was a one off mistake Overall would definitely returnβ
βArrived just after opening and already there were constant cars filling the 6 parking spaces never empty and even though it was busy they granted us permission to eat in the car park. The fish was huge generous portion of chips smothered in mushy peas. Cooked to perfection . I was so mad with my myself that I couldn't finish it off as it was a really good plate food. Staff were friendly and fast and their customers included the local constabulary. So it must be good.β
