“Hats off to the team at Toms Table, we booked a table for our anniversary and had a fantastic meal, starters of pork fritter and I had the cheese soufflé, then we both had Sirloin steak that was perfectly cooked. We were too full for dessert but we received a lovely little complementary cake with happy anniversary written in chocolate sauce which was a lovely touch and totally unexpected.”

“The food was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive without being overbearing, and they made us feel right at home. Prices were very reasonable considering the quality, and the whole experience felt like true value for money. This is definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone who enjoys authentic, well-prepared Italian food. I’ll absolutely be coming back!”

“My experience at Las Iguanas was truly exceptional! From the moment we walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel right at home. The food was incredible – the buritto with steak and chicken was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour, and the presentation was beautiful. We can't wait to return to try more! “The interior of the restaurant is really nice and was greeted with a smile by the staff. Very friendly and we were given few minutes to select a drink and then once our drinks had came, we were asked promptly for our food orders. The food itself is very nice, we shared a starter which was lovely and both had different main meals. The tikka masala is nice but does need more flavour in my opinion (I always think a more red and rich masala is super tasty but appreciate every chef does it differently). My partners main meal which has paneer is was lovely. They add 10% service charge onto the bill which many places do these days which I don’t mind at all (as long as they give good service). All in all a great place to enjoy some nice food and great service, we will definitely return in the future.”

“What a place! The location, the decor, the welcome, the staff, the service and of course the food all out of this World. Warm welcome, knowledgeable sommelier who exudes positivity and tells you a fabulous story about the wine, I could listen to him all day. The food is served and explained and is of an exquisite nature. I often don’t even read the ingredients and just try it - and I’m never disappointed. You’d be surprised how small dishes can fill you so much. A fabulous place, and a credit to Simon Wood. We will be back again and again.”

“This is an absolute treat! Instead of being in France due to industrial action, we sought to bring France to us and so glad we did. The food was high quality and in comfortable surroundings. Steak tartare as good as I have ever had (minus the egg yolk, because this in Britain!). A touch on the pricey side, but in this particular case, you do get what you pay for. Very good”

“Hadn't booked, but given great table at front of restaurant. Made to feel very welcome. Menu not huge, but descriptions full and explanatory. 3 different dishes, all equally delicious. Best Bengal meal ever. I've travelled down from Scotland to visit family, but will definitely come back.”

“Absolutely loved this hotel. It is a short walking distance from the train station, easy to access. The building looks amazing and the rooms are just fab! It is a proper hotel room but very well equipped even had a small kitchen installed giving a feeling of an RBnb so you can cook your own meals if you want. Nice and clean bathroom with some nice brands of shampoo and body wash. Also had iron and hair dryer. Oh, and the view was stunning, staff was superfriendly. Wifi was quick, easy to connect and even the staircase looks beautiful. Highly recommended accomodation if you visit Manchester.”

“I absolutely love Coriander curries. The staff are always really friendly. They this year opened a second restaurant nearer the Four banks end of Barlow Moor Road. The 'old' restaurant handles all of the takeaways. The new restaurant is spotless and always very busy. Overall, I would go as far as saying that it is my favourite Curry house of all time. I would recommend the Lamb Shaslic.”

“Been wanting to go here since they opened, finally got a table. Heard and read great things about this place. I can see now why it's got such high praise and why it's worth waiting to get a booking. From the moment we entered the place was so inviting, the service was excellent. As for the food it was incredible, not one bad course, I opted for the extra course of pheasant, which I'm so glad I did it was one of my favourites. I've been to quite a few tasting menus and this was up there as one of my favourites. The place has a lovely homely family vibe, the chef/owner came out and chatted to us about one of the courses and we ended up chatting for a little, really nice guy. This is such an amazing addition to Urmston and deserves all the success. Get booked in and you won't be disappointed. We will be returning for the next convenient available slot. Been here a few times now and it never disappoints. The food is incredible we went on Sunday for there Sunday roast and it was amazing, every element was off the scale. I'd go for the three courses as the portions aren't huge but well balanced.”

“We had our first meal at this restaurant tonight and it was absolutely fantastic! The service was top-notch, with friendly and efficient staff who were attentive to our needs. A really nice touch was when the chef came out of the kitchen to ask us how our food was. This is something I've only seen on TV before, but it was a really personal and thoughtful gesture that made me feel valued as a customer. The food was also delicious and flavorful. We had pizza, carbonara and risotto and they were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. The portion size was generous, and I left feeling satisfied but not overstuffed. We also had the tiramisu and chocolate fudge cake both were delicious. The price of the food is a little bit higher than some other restaurants I've been to, but I think it's worth it for the quality of the food and the excellent service. I will definitely be coming back here again soon!”

“I asked Ali if he could cater for a family gathering I was having at home. I could not have been happier with the wonderful food that was made for us. Every single item was delicious. The lamb shoulder was super tender, the chicken was delicious as was the gravy made from scratch! Loved the sides. Tiramisu and rice pudding were the perfect two desserts to keep everyone happy! “A nice fine dining restaurant with absolutely delicious food. We visited the restaurant for lunch and it was an amazing experience. There are various options for both vegetarian and non vegetarians. “We have ordered breakfast for delivery from here a number of times now and I can honestly say it’s the best we’ve had in a long time, every single time we haven’t been disappointed. Food is piping hot when it arrives and is beautifully presented you can tell the staff take pride in their food and service. The little touches make such a difference and the staff write little messages on the boxes and receipts saying thank you, or enjoy etc. Will definitely be visiting in person at some point.”

“Fantastic little tea room. I'm not one for writing reviews, but felt this place really deserved one. Very busy when we arrived, we were lucky to get some comfy chairs in the window. Amazing bacon bap with lovely thick tasty bacon from the local butcher, huge mug of delicious black coffee, very happy to pay £6.95. Charming staff, will definitely be back.”
