“Being in my early 40s now and having many Chinese takeaways over 3 decades, this is absolutely hands down our favourite Chinese and the only place we get from now! As you can see in the pic the sweet and sour chicken melts in the mouth, very generous portions such as the salt and pepper chicken which is our favourite starter, super friendly and efficient staff and very reasonable prices, cannot recommend highly enough! “We visited Aatma as part of the Beyond The Music festival. Google maps steered us to pretty much the right spot, but as others have said in their reviews, finding the exact stairwell entrance is slightly hard. However, if anything that only added to the experience and atmosphere. Upstairs in the venue, the acoustics were good and it’s a decent size for listeners. There’s some scattered seating around the edges including sofas, buy once acts were on everyone was on their feet anyway. The range of soft drinks in the upstairs bar was quite poor, but the atmosphere more than made up for it”

“Been here twice and can't fault the place. The lunch special cheese and onion pie was really tasty. Also had a breakfast Omelette here and would recommend. The staff were friendly and the food prices reasonable. Place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. When ordering I was warned it might be a 20 minute wait however food arrived within 10 minutes. The food was hot, loved the homemade chips and fresh salad. They had a lovely children's corner with colouring books and ramped access at the front door. Only gave 4 stars for the food because they only use 2 eggs for the Omelette which compared to elsewhere is a little stingy. Will return again”

“I used to live in Glossop, at a time when the Raj Gourmet brought something completely new to local curries. Every time I go back I hope it won't have lost its magic. All the curries here are completely different, so I can never decide and usually go for two very different dishes. Tonight I went for prawn pathia, chicken moglai, mushroom rice, and paratha. The pathia has lots of slivers of green chillis - eat them and it's deliciously vindaloo strength, leave them and it' a really good, rich sweet & sour curry. The moglai is smooth, indulgent, and nutty without the annoying sweetness of lots of similar curries. (The portions are still huge, so I'll be eating this tomorrow too). How they've managed to sustain the quality without increasing the prices, I don't know, but I love this place.”

“The Smoker looks great after the recent renovation, but still retains its quaint, welcoming old coach House feel. The menu was superb. We each had something from the specials board, mine was chicken with potato cakes, topped with a mustard sauce. The food was excellent value, well presented and was really tasty. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, great beer selection. I'd recommend the smoker to anyone wanting a meal out with friends or family.”

The owners are great and made us feel very welcome. The decor inside is stunning and the food is fresh and really tasty. My little kids even got lollies at the end. “The food here is very nice and tasty. The portion is everything, I really enjoyed myself. This is the best authentic Nigerian food I've tasted since my 3 years in this country. Normally, I prefer to cook my own food because the few I've tried don't really worth it, so I give up. Yesterday I had a lazy day and just couldn't cook so I decided to check out this restaurant and see. I wasn't disappointed at all, I enjoyed the food. Had to ask to see who made the food because the taste was everything, the amala was soft, the protein was well seasoned and tender. The gbegiri, ewedu and omi obe was superb. I'm so happy, would visit more so i highly recommend.”

“A great spot to dine with friends and family. The food was cooked with love and care and the environment was friendly and warm. Myself and my friends had a lamb wrap, chicken wings with chips, shakshouka, falafel, coffee and baklava and each bite was a treat for the tastebuds. After finishing our meal we just wanted to sit and enjoy each others company and we were welcomed to this, not being hurried out of the door and instead being invited to stay for as long as we liked. I will definitely be visiting Dina again.”

“This is the best jalebi place in Rusholme, if you are looking for the crunchy, thin hot jalebi. Friendly and welcoming staff and all the food is freshly prepared on order. Their traditional halwa puri breakfast is yum and great value and it’s available every day and all day.”

“So pleased I've discovered the atmosphere bar. Located within the university house this is the university's main SU bar but also well used by Peel Park visitors. The bar is located on the first floor of the building and is easily missed if you don't know it's there. Once inside there are three distinct and different parts of the bar. Firstly the main bar and largest space is like a sports bar with plenty of screens to watch live sporting events. Secondly, there is a games bar with pool tables and retro arcade games and darts. Thirdly there is a mezzanine floor which carries a whole different decor and vibe. Much more intermate and lounge like you can easily find your own space to work or have a private drink. I didn't sample the food but it appeared to be very good value for money. The beer selection was excellent and very well priced. £3.80 for a pint of Guinness and £3.70 for a pint of Madri. The Guinness was excellent too. When I'm next in Peel Park I'll certainly pay a visit to Atmosphere.”
