“My favorite place with Indian cuisine! Garlic naan is amazing, I often ask for extra garlic and it's absolutely amazing! I always take Butter Chicken, full of spices and flavors, and the more spicy Chilli Paneer, and it's great! The portions are good, the prices are very affordable for such delicious food. I have never been disappointed by this restaurant and I visit this place regularly. If you haven't tried it, you must!”

“Beautiful decor and friendly service, my mums not well and I was craving some comfort noodles. I wanted some Chinese after so long and this was so good, I got the stir fried egg noodles chicken with extra black bean sauce and chilly . Food was hot and fresh and veg was nice and crispy and they followed my notes perfectly. Food actually tasted fresher than other places and was packed well. Packed to the top so I even have some for later on. Thank you so much for the great food keep it up! The food and restaurant atmosphere speaks for itself”

“We had a wonderful experience at Indian Gastro Kitchen @ Kingsfield Arms! It was our first time visiting, and despite the restaurant being busy, the team went out of their way to accommodate us. My daughter had just flown in from Japan, and we needed an extra seat—without hesitation, they made it happen. I believe it was the owner or manager who welcomed us so warmly; she was incredibly thoughtful and gave that rare personal touch you don’t always find these days. All the staff were friendly, attentive, and kind throughout. It has a lovely, family-friendly atmosphere and is very local to us, which is a bonus. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to others looking for great food and genuine hospitality!”

“A Perfect Sunday Surprise! We dropped into Dawat on a Sunday night without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming — attentive without being intrusive. The food was absolutely excellent — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. To top it all off, there was a fantastic live band playing, which gave the evening an extra spark. Between the great food, friendly service, and the bonus live music, it turned into one of those spontaneous nights you don’t forget. A great end to our Diwali celebrations! Highly recommend!”

“I was on vacation this week in London. Found this place on google maps and didn’t expect it to be so good. The food was amazing. The servers were excellent. They were so accommodating. Would recommend this place to friends and families any day! We had a variety of dishes. My favorite was their Tawa Speciall. Their biryani was a family favorite.”

“Probably the best indian food I've ever had. Pratham was an exceptionally good server who wasn't pushy at all but could recommend good dishes. Also didn't keep asking if the food was OK every five minutes which we appreciated. The lamb chops were a standout for me they were amazing. Is the food expensive ? Very.... was it worth it ? £180 for 3 of us ? Absolutely. There is cheap shite out there and then there is this food which is miles ahead of most things we've tried anywhere in the world. We heard some people complain about the service charge but the service was top notch and worth every penny as was the food. Also worth mentioning the portion sizes were huge we boxed some up and made 3 more meals out of it the next day”

“Really nice food. We attended a baby shower party here over the weekend and the food was fantastic. The staff are also very good they made sure all the tables had drinks and frequently topped them up. Cannot fault them one bit and also the chef regularly came out to check on the food. “Excellent Afghan food. Extremely nice service. All the foods are tasty and we have tried a few but personal favourites are: lamb karahi and/or bara. I even love their fries, salad and naan bread. Very friendly and we are regular visitors! The meat is always very tasty and portions are very large so it fills you up. Every time we have so much food and we take away the left overs! Clean cutlery. Nice and comfortable seats. Parking around the corner free in the evenings! Definitely recommend!”

The sambar was rich and aromatic, and the chutneys were fresh and delicious. Also a special mention to Mr. Ganesh for his excellent service.
