Authentic restaurant experience in Twickenham

“A real nice experience in Indian dining. Started off with the reviews of course and then the dining. The cider choice, was a koppaberg which was refreshing. Thr samosas in the chaat were complimented with channa aka chickpeas and vatiyon other accoutrements. Delicious. The murg tikka was quite good too but would have preferred fit bit more heat n the green chutney served with it. On to the main course with lamb saag and dal makhani with breads. Both ere well cooked and excellently spiced to provide a great end to the meal. Unfortunately no space for kulfi.”

“We live nearby and visit this cafe frequently. Always very polite and friendly staff to all (not sure what you need to do to make them angry as one person said in his review). I love their croque monsure (please forgive my French) with goat cheese, cakes, coffee is also lovely. Clean and tidy, they do alterations to accomodate my baby food requirements ehich is very important for me. Thank you))”

“Beautiful pizza place with authentic Italian vibes. The staff was immediately welcoming and helpful, making a table available despite short notice and the fact that we needed the space for a stroller. Their pizza menu is really comprehensive, so we picked a Bufalina, a Pistacchiosa, a Burratina, and a Casereccia. Useless to say that for 4 people, we might have exaggerated a bit... but it was well worth it! It's just a shame that we had no space left for the desserts, as they looked excellent. The prices are also very honest. Definitely recommended.”

“My recent dining at Brouge Gastropub was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, it was a culinary delight. The food was delicious. I had a steak, and it was cooked to perfection - tender,juicy and bursting with flavour. The cocktails were also wonderful. “Malaysian cuisine! Friendly staff and makes you feel very welcomed and comfortable to dine in. Try Makan Makan Fried Rice and tea (hand mixed by Michelle) There's also a Fried Mars Bar!? Worth a try! Restaurant is a bit small with about 5 tables. Reasonably priced.”

“Great restaurant. I had wanted to have dinner here for many years and the opportunity finally presented itself. I attended with a large group and the staff were very attentive. “We had reserved a Christmas lunch for ten individuals at a different Green King establishment. After receiving only generic confirmation emails and no further communication, we visited the pub a week prior to our booking, only to discover it was still under construction. Dec, the Area Manager, was present and clarified that a mix-up had occurred, and our reservation should have been canceled. Following some concern, Dec successfully rebooked our lunch arrangements at the Barney Arns in Twickenham. Our visit to the Barney Arms was met with exceptional service from Chloe, who demonstrated remarkable helpfulness and understanding, effectively alleviating any concerns we had. Our Christmas luncheon was exceptional, characterized by outstanding cuisine and a superb ambiance. The staff provided exemplary service. Dec, Chloe, and the team provided exceptional assistance. We will certainly be rebooking for next year. Thank you for making our Christmas Day truly special.”

“This is the eat-in to have. Food is always nice. Fresh and a lot of flavour. Always arrives hot and fast. You can call up and ask any questions about new dishes that you would like to try. They will always do there best to explain what it is and what it has in it. The people who work there are super friendly very polite nothing to much for them.”

“This is a lovely little French restaurant, with pretty French music! The French bread and caper butter was very delicious had to order more bread to finish off the yummy butter! My partner ordered the scallops and I got the pea soup - both very tasty! The decor is lovely, wooden floors and velvet blue sofas. The veal and plaice was quite good and the dauphinoise was excellent! Would definitely recommend and want to try the lobster ravioli next time!”

“One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been. We had mussels for starter to share which they brought in two separate plates and made it easy. The starter was massive and absolutely enough for two people. Then we had pepperoni calzone and salmon pasta bake which were amazing. The food is absolutely fresh and flavoured here. The calzone was delicious and stuffed which made it a big portion and the salmon pasta bake was perfectly cheesy and in a great creamy white sauce. We also had Tiramisu which was perfectly creamy. The staff were nice and friendly. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for fresh and flavoured italian food served in a huge portions.”

Raj is a lovely lady who is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and will make every customers visit a treat as she can cater for all people, Raj is a star and so good at what she does ! Also Raj's colleague Puneet is a polite, accommodating competent person who takes care of customers needs and can assist with their requests to make your experience better ! “Sheesh mahal We always look for a bring your own drink restaurant as they usually have the best food! This restaurant did not disappoint! We had the most amazing welcome. Were given a lovely booth for 2! We started with Poppadums and dips. Delicious! One was unique made from coconut!! With our main we chose the house special lamb chops, chicken madras, pilau rice and peshwari naan! The lamb chops were seconds to none! Unbelievable! When visiting new places we love to go to an Indian and this was in our top 10. The food was first class.”

“Came here with 6 friends of mine post-Twickenham rugby, and the service and food were absolutely amazing. Our waiter was very welcoming and friendly, and the food was delivered quickly. Every one of us had a different dish (from pad thai, to spicy crispy duck, curries, calamari, pork ribs, and more) - every single one was tender and a perfect balance of flavours. I myself got the yellow yellow noodles dish with chicken thighs, and it reminded me a lot of the Chiang Mai/Khao Soi noodles I had when I was in Thailand myself. 5 stars. Highly recommend!”
