Authentic taste in Watford

“The food here is absolutely amazing and authentic to the true flavors of Northern India ❤️. Cannot go wrong with the staples: hot masala chai, papadums, garlic naan, bombay mix, butter chicken and lamb Biriyani. Food took a little long to arrive to table, but it was well worth the wait! Our server is named Freya and was very friendly! Highly recommend if in the Watford area.”

“This guy is an absolute legend! My family and I ordered from his place back when he had a shop in Uxbridge, when we lived there. I was absolutely elated to find he's now here in Croxley, where we are too. The best kebabs we've ever had!”

“I always have a relaxing time at Villiers. This is a cozy and laidback café, with a lot of different treats on offer that cater to a variety of diets. There are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. I was very appreciative that I could choose between a few flourless snacks. I’ve had the flapjack, the cheesecake, and the salted caramel brownie, all of which I enjoyed. Shoutout to the barista Anna, who always ensures that the gluten free goodies I get are handled safely so I can enjoy them without getting a reaction! The coffee is very good, and I can't complain when there's nice latte art. I don’t love that the latte is served in a glass instead of a mug, but that's more of a preference than a comment on the quality. It tastes great regardless! In short: very nice and recommend!”

“During our trip to Watford to visit the Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio, we discovered this restaurant completely by chance. For our arrival lunch, the four of us had an absolutely delightful meal. Both the children and the adults loved every dish. The food was exquisite, and we received a very warm welcome. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to return for dinner the following evening before the end of our stay, and we were just as impressed with the other dishes we tried. They don't provide a delivery service on any apps so you have to collect, but for the quality it's more than worth it. No dine in available either fyi. But I wish there were!”

“Having had some disappointing takeaways recently, I wanted to try somewhere different. Positive reviews encouraged me to try Leavesden Tandoori. Was not disappointed. Good portion sizes and tasty food. Will use this takeaway again in the near future.”

“We were recommended to them by friends. Really pleasantly surprised. Friendly lady took our order and it was correct. Food was still hot when got it home twenty mins later. We will probably get delivery next time. The food was delicious and this is why...in our opinion...it was not sitting in lots of sauces (each dish) it was not soggy. It was not full of monosodium glutamate. So, food tasted good and we were thirsty all night! Noodles, beansprouts and meat was crispier and not covered in sauces. Food was good portion sizes and under £20 for four dishes. Finally, premises looked clean and they are rated well for cleanliness.”

First time we have finished a whole takeaway full nothing was left. The staff had recommended a veg dish and starter and both very tasty just what we needed. Very helpful and patient on the phone. “Lovely Indian restaurant with ample parking. They have a decent bar and huge seating area. Food was amazing and they have much choices for your taste buds. Some items on the menu are little pricey, however they are large portions. So, its worth for sharing and families. Service was great and we got our items super quickly. Definitely come back again.”

The tar-tar sauce was also wonderful. After receiving my order I had to wait on my friend and in the meantime one of the workers kept me company, telling about the restaurant history and the neighbourhood. AMAZING!!!!”
