A special shoutout to Dennis, who was absolutely brilliant behind the bar – super helpful, friendly, and really attentive. “Lovely hotel which was perfectly situated! 15 min drive from st Albans which was lovely to explore with a stunning cathedral. And 15 min drive the other way to Harry potter world!! So perfect for us, friendly staff with full use of pool, sauna and steam room so that was a huge plus. Rooms were simple but had everything required. Food was lovely at the hotel and something that made me super happy was when asked for a take out box, They had these biodegradable boxes (instead of the standard plastic tubs) and paper straws! ✌ so big shout out for that.”

“I've been coming to this cafe with my family for at least 10 years. It's highly accessible via lifts for anyone with wheelchairs or pushchairs, I've never had an issue getting a table and the staff are friendly. After so many years coming they know us by sight! The food is simple, with lots of filling options for sandwiches/baguettes or other choices. Veggie options as well. The coffee is especially good, always piping hot. Can't fault it as a straightforward and inexpensive cafe that's that feels a little above the hustle and bustle of the shopping mall due to its elevated position.”

“Very helpful staff. It's very nice tasting food. Had the bacon cheese burger and the kids fish bites. Didn't have to wait too long for food or have to wait too long between the main meal and desert. Could do with a menu for younger kids who have less appetite. The breakfast the next morning was lovely. Only downfall to the breakfast was the eggs but that can't be helped when they are in the heated trays.”

“Had a great experience at the Wetherspoon in Watford. The ambience was really nice — welcoming and relaxed, perfect for a casual outing. The food was good and reasonably priced, living up to the Wetherspoon standard. The place was clean throughout, and the washrooms were surprisingly well maintained, which isn’t always the case in busy pubs. Overall, the place is aesthetically pleasing and well looked after. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!”
