I got cod & chips mini and a single cod on Saturday and a bottle of onion vinegar, so delish all fresh cooked the chips were scrummy an the batter on the fish was great. We had the patatas bravas, whitebait deep fried, paella, beetroot and goats cheese tart. The latter’s flavours and textures were on another level. Would highly recommend. What a gem in Dartford.”

He was so enthusiastic and the interaction was lovely even with the large amounts of children that come in he made time for everyone tivmake sure everyone had a great time, must be the best Santa we’ve seen so far my kids loved it! Also a shout out to his helper elf she was a lovely lady and took loads of pictures for us to capture the memory.. as always a lovely meal and servers were great especially with the rush!”

I had to run away twice as I felt in danger. Please try to see who can't behave and if they are not behaving properly while intoxitated ,get them out. Otherwise all great, good vibes. “Happy to make changes like putting some meat separate and some in a pitta which is really useful, when they are flexible about how the food is given to you and they aren't precious about a set menu. Only thing I'd point out to them is to make sure to use a set of tongs to turn the raw chicken skewers over, and once this is cooked on the outside, move to a different part of the grill and finish it off, by using another pair of tongs. You'd avoid any chance of cross contamination this way. Same goes for the pittas and wraps being warmed up - use another clean pair of tongs to avoid customers having second thoughts about their stomachs getting through the night ok..”

“We ordered a takeaway roast at the weekend and it was the best decision we've made! Lol. It was absolutely fabulous and one of the best roasts I've had in a long time. We were so grateful to be able to take it away and enjoy it whilst our toddler was napping. The member of staff we spoke to on the phone was so kind and helpful. We collected our roast with no problems and just about had a big enough plate to put it on as the portion size was fantastic. The whole roast was spot on - lovely turkey/beef, tasty veg and cauliflower cheese. Thank you so much. We'll definitely be ordering again and happy new year! It was so good I nearly cried hahaha.”

“A fantastic little pub in the idyllic village of Eynsford. A smallish outdoor area to the right as you approach and a large area to the rear. Inside the pub is split in two along the lines of what I would think would have been the bar and the lounge. The guvnor was wonderful but took his beers very seriously- kept constant eye contact when he asked what we thought of his beers and listened intently to our answers. The inside was lovely and not overdone like many country inns trying to capture the history of the land. The Guinness was absolutely spot on as was the Harvey's Sussex Best and the Landlord. I think I might go back”

“Had the festive menu and the food took a little longer than expected but Charlee was fab at updating us and ensuring we were comfortable and if we needed anything else. We were sat in the conservatory which was cold and the food took longer than necessary but the food was adequate. Made better only by the millionaires fodue dessert.”
