“Went there for my wife's birthday dinner and we were so happy with tasty food and excellent service. Drinks from the bar took a while to prepare so eventually we ordered different drinks but other than that everything went well. Happy wife and kids.”

“Brilliant place to have an indian meal. Very friendly, quiet and cosy atmosphere. They have re-done up the restaurant after lockdown and it looks better. I have not been before, but my girlfriend who lives in the area recommended it and it did not disappoint! The chef is from an Indian background; the cafe staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the dhal meal, with a side portion of steamed rice. Very filling and good value for money :)”

“Visit this pub. This is what all other pubs should aspire to. My friend just moved down the road, and a bunch of us helped him with the heavy lifting. There is only one way to celebrate moving heavy things- pub. Nicole the landlady was super friendly. Gave us a welcoming round, a tour, and my friend a Red Lion Keyring. Looks like there is a ton going on here, and it's a lot of fun. All the interior has been traditionally kept. Which is very rare in pubs these days (gastropubs, yuck), and is great! This is a proper pub. I'm looking forward to visiting again, and I am definitely going to be at the festival they hold.”

“Had a lovely relaxed lunch here. The cafe is well run, had quick service and the staff were really friendly. There was a good range of sandwiches, hot lunces as well as hot and cold drinks. I had the vegetarian sausage bap, really impressed. Was tasty and hot.”

“I didn't stay in the hotel, so my comments are on the pub. My family and I visited The Milford Arms pub on Father's Day. The staff were so lovely and the Sunday Roast was amazing! It was so tasty. It was my first time there and I would visit again.”

“My husband and I decided to have a night out in Richmond and we stayed at the Swan Inn because of the very reasonable nightly rate. The pub is located on a quiet street within walking distance to the river and along the river there are walking paths with beautiful scenery. It's also only a 10 minute walk to Richmond city centre where there are even more dining and shopping options. The pub appears to be quite popular, as it was reasonably busy even on a Monday night but the service was still great. Toby, the Manager, was working behind the bar. The Swan Inn also has a Thai Restaurant with inside and outside dining which we decided to try; the portions were perfect and the food was delicious (I ordered the Chicken Stir Fry with Oyster Sauce, my husband ordered a Burger as he's not a huge Thai food person, and we shared an appetizer with chicken wings, pork meatballs, and Thai sausages - forgot to take a picture of the entrees but I have attached a picture of the appetizer). They include a free continental and hot breakfast as part of the stay as well, so we both had the Full English Breakfast. The room was well-lit and appeared recently renovated, and it was en-suite which was really nice. Would definitely recommend The Swan Inn to anyone looking to spend the day in the area. “Rating the food here. Probably the best value eat in London. I'm a big foodie and I am glad to have this place on my doorstep. You can see the Thai get made fresh through the kitchen window. Really friendly service. The food always tastes good. Thai for a tenner, you can't knock it. I hope this place stays the same, and doesn't compromise on ingredient quality or staff!”

“The Castle became my local in October 2022 and been through 2 management changes but have to say the new landlords Eddie and Tracey have improved the place dramatically and love going down! Great food and the overall atmosphere is great!! You feel part of a community here! No fights or arguments!. If your looking for a chilled place place to drink and make some new pals this is the place to be!”

“I came in today (27th June 2023 ) for some lunch and I had the smashed avocado on sourdough and a latte. The ladies that attended me were very friendly and helpful and they made my latte exactly how I wanted with only half a shot of coffee and I didn’t want the extra chilly flakes lime or rocket. Really great service and enjoyed the meal and coffee I will come come again.”
