“Staying a few doors down at a VRBO, and we've come here every morning of our stay for coffee. The specialty coffees are delicious, and the baristas are so nice! They also offer a variety of breakfast pastries that our kids loved. We haven't tried their actual breakfast items as we aren't morning eaters, but they also look delicious! “This is a great expense, one that could be tried by anyone. There are some great choices available for starters, soups or mains and desserts, this place truly has something for everyone. From the outside it looks like a hotel lobby restaurant or something you'd find in central London. Inside is a nice looking banquet hall. The food is delicious and consistent, I've had 3 courses that I was equally pleased and impressed by. My favourite was ciorbă de burtă (tripe soup), although the sarmale (stuffed cabbage) was also really tasty. Don't forget about papanași (doughnuts?). 9/10 would go again, thoroughly recommended.”

“As soon as I entered with my wife and kids, we were warmly welcomed by the girl at the counter and the guy near the coffee area. My mocha tasted amazing, and my kids really enjoyed their berry slush. Thank you, Rakhshan! The place was clean, and the aroma of fresh coffee was just incredible. Visited on Sunday, 1st June 2025 at 5:30 PM. I even bought some chocolate as a small gesture to appreciate the excellent service.”

The dhal was my favourite..though it was the thokku that was a bit hit in our house, especially my daughter's. “Have visited King George’s twice in the past week, and have read the reviews on Costa, but thought we might as well get a coffee. The coffee was probably one of the best i have got from Costa’s, as normally go to independent coffee shops. The lady that served us was very polite and always had a smile on her face, even when there we several people waiting, she never got flustered. Please don’t be put off by bad reviews, it cant be that bad when you see the queues.”
