“What an absolutely nice Restaurant this is; they have several restaurants in London but not all by the same name. By night a restaurant but by day also a bakery and a wine shop! The food is amazing, French-English modern styled and they are fantastic in Nose-to-Tail dining! The Restaurant we had dinner in, is located in Spitalfields opposite to the Church and Foodmarket. The place looks very authentic and minimalistic with brown chairs and tables and all white walls. Service is excellent, staff is very friendly & helpful. The menu changes daily and there are a few daily specials. We ordered the Cod’s Roe and Crab on Toast to start and were absolutely amazed by both. After we tried the Chicken and Ox Tongue Pie, quite heavy but also very delicious! Sadly we were too full for dessert but these looked very tasty too. They have a massive wine selection so surely you will find one that pairs well with your chosen dishes. We had been recommended this place by another restaurant in the neighbourhood and spontaneously went there on a Sunday evening late. We were very lucky to get a table without a reservation. Do make a reservation in advance. We would definitely visit again when we are in London.”

“The new special dish (from 18th November 2025) was quite good. The broth is light and the duck is lean. Great noodles as always. Ramya was a lovely host and made sure everything was perfect with my meal.”

“First time at Smith Western. The place has a unique american western atmosphere and style - Saddles as bar stools, wagon wheels hang as lamps, and a wall is full of classic cowboy boots. The food is delicious and fresh. Large portions are well-priced. The drinks are tasty and interesting. The staff professional and very friendly. They are styled in keeping with the theme of the place. I recommend booking in advance for groups on weekends.”

“We had a superb dinner experience at 12:51 last night. We got the 5 course vegetarian menu. The price was good for the number of portions and quality of the food. You can tell immediately that the menu has been created by an experienced, stellar chef. The staff were really nice, and the whole atmosphere quite casual and cozy. Really liked the small marmite butter sample they gave us after we sat down. Really looking forward to coming back once they change the seasonal menu.”

“I had an amazing dinner! Italian platter of mixed salumi and ham with home made bread. Ravioli filled with mince meat and as I like spicy requested the chef to add some chili to my plate. To end I had a beef tenderloin. Everything was delicious. The staff is friendly and accommodating.”

“Hail the NHS , from walking in with a heart pain to receiving potentially life saving treatment within 7 days ,OUTSTANDING. AnE, Majors , AEU and most but not least medical ward 7 , every member of staff was brilliant, thank you sooo much . Comon British people where in the world can you get walk in service like that without having to pay ZILLIONS . Personally I still can’t believe what I’ve been through, the care I’ve had, the world leading skills, tech, consultants it’s just like a fantastic dream and better than any holiday I’ve ver had . We don’t need to put the Great back in Britain we already have it with the NHS . Bloody well done .”

“Friendly, polite and kind members of staff. I've never had an MRI before so was slightly nervous and they put me at ease and were informative and professional. From the referral from my doctor to having the MRI was about a week and a half (and they offered me a sooner appointment I couldn't make) which is fantastic.”

“Despite doctors strikes and attending on a friday evening, I was seen with very little waiting time and the same for chest x-rays and tests afterwards. Absolutely brilliant for a busy London A&E, I cant remember the name of the clinician that seen me but he was very friendly and professional ( all the staff was!!) The only staff name i remember was Padraig, who was brilliant like all the others. Could not fault the experience at all or thank the staff enough!!”
