“I had to kill some time waiting for my car. I was hungry and wanted something filling but not too heavy. Chose this cafe, I was impressed with the menu selections. They have the early bird full English breakfast options, I went with the cheese omelette which you can choose to have with a jacket potatoe, chips or salad. I chose the salad and pineapple suprise smoothie. I was very impressed with the food and the service was great as well. Really enjoyed this and will come back again.”

“Ordered this through the TooGoodToGoo app, I received a chicken burger with chips and a drink. This tasted really good, the chicken tasted really fresh and I really enjoyed it. The staff member who served me was really pleasant. I can see this place would be great when the weather is better as they have lots of outdoor seating. Their menu also offers vegan food. I will visit again!”

“I have to say, I was very impressed with their burgers. I ordered through Uber Eats and got their Roadhouse Beef Chilli Smash and New York Taxi. Both burgers were delicious. The chilli burger didn't have much chilli inside so could make that improvement but the quality of the beef was very good. The New York Taxi burger was my favourite. Flavoursome, good portion and great toppings. Highly recommend.”

They can be a little spicy depending on the dish you choose, so it would be good to give spice intensity options, like mild, medium and hot but otherwise the food is always piping hot and tasty! “I recently had a fantastic meal at The Grill Stratford and wanted to share my experience. From start to finish, the food was absolutely top-notch, and it's a spot I'd highly recommend. For starters, I got the buffalo wings and black tiger prawns. The wings had a great kick and were perfectly cooked, while the prawns were juicy and full of flavour. Both dishes were a great way to kick off the meal. But the real star of the show was the ribeye steak. It was incredibly tender, cooked to perfection, and melted in my mouth with every bite. It was easily one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. While my main focus was on the steak, I also had a taste of the burger, and it didn’t disappoint. It was hearty, well-seasoned, and a great choice if you're not in the mood for a steak. Overall, the quality of the food at The Grill Stratford is superb. If you're looking for a place with excellent steaks and a solid menu all around, this is definitely the place to go.”

The host greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel right at home. Nothing was too much trouble; every request was met with kindness and care. And the food — wow. The roast dinner was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked meat, crisp yet fluffy roast potatoes, rich gravy, and all the trimmings done to perfection. You can really taste the love and attention that goes into every dish. I left feeling full, happy, and already planning my next visit. Crem Kitchen is a true gem — I can’t recommend it enough!”

“Had such a great experience at The Rabbits Pub thanks to Laura! She was super friendly, welcoming, and made us feel looked after the whole time. You can tell she really knows what she’s doing everything ran so smoothly, and she handled things with total confidence. She’s got real manager vibes very organised, professional, and still manages to keep things relaxed. It’s rare to get service that feels both personal and professional at the same time, but Laura absolutely nailed it. Food was really nice one of the few places i have enjoyed food in a pub atmosphere Definitely one of the reasons I’ll be coming back”

“Hands down the best spot in Romford, tucked away on the far side of the market, this little gem is a generational family run cafe, I had a sausage egg and bacon sandwich taken away, it was foodgasmic the bacon was thick back bacon with a light smoke, the egg was runny the sausage was good quality and the crusty English bread was fresh and nourishing slavered in butter and brown sauce. I have been here a few times and think it’s great, and the tea is a good blend with a strong colour just the way I like it not milky and served in a proper cup not those fancy coffee dish’s. Keep up the good work guys.”

“Went in last night for a pizza from the guys at Slice — absolutely delicious! The crust was perfect, and the wings were really good too. Had a couple of drinks beforehand — nice crowd and great atmosphere. The happy hour between 6–7 is a bonus — a pint and a half for under a fiver! Great value all round.”
