I contacted Ben a few weeks ago with an issue I had with my parking brake. What started out as a small issue turned out to be a huge job as we discovered more and more bits that needed doing. This issue took multiple attempts to fix with different hiccups along the way but he kept at it and got it resolved. Having watched him work I can say with certainty that he is very knowledgeable and is keen to carry out the work to a perfect standard rather than rush and do the bare minimum. “I came into Halfords about 20 minutes before closing time looking for a headlight bulb. A team member kindly asked if I needed any assistance, and John came over twice to check in and help me find exactly what I needed. He was very helpful and professional. Once I’d picked out the bulb, John asked if I’d like it fitted, and he quickly arranged for another gentleman to do it. As soon as I stepped outside, the gentleman kindly asked if it was about the headlight and fitted it in no time! I was out in less than 10 minutes. He inspected the damage and explained thoroughly in detail the process that would be involved in the repairs - his passion for this work is very evident to see.
