“We had a really good time at this venue, it was so perfect for a kids birthday, loads of space, a lovely clean kitchen with multiple ovens, fridge etc a separate area for eating. Very clean and quite modern. The people who run the space were so helpful and very friendly. I will definitely book this venue again for sure.”

“Our son has been attending 1st Place at Chumleigh Gardens since he was 10 months old and we couldn’t be happier with the care he has received over the past three years. The staff are fantastic—kind, nurturing, and dedicated. He has built strong relationships with his carers, many of whom have been there throughout his time at the nursery, providing a wonderful sense of continuity. One of the things we love most is the emphasis on outdoor play and exploration. He thrives on being outside every day and especially enjoys the trips to forest school. The nursery also fosters a great sense of community, and he has made lots of friends along the way. The focus on child development is excellent, ensuring he is well-prepared for the next stage of learning. We are incredibly grateful for the care and support he has received and would highly recommend the nursery to other parents.”

“A few weeks back I was collecting my daughter from her classes in the centre and I purposely arrived a little earlier so that I would have time for my mid day prayer. I asked the lady at reception if the centre had a religious room. She was a little unhelpful and abrupt with an immediate no without apology. Not long after an absolute lovely gentleman by the name of Joe asked if I just needed a room which I replied yes he then guided me to a back room that had very dim beautiful lighting and only housed a ping pong table. I was so grateful. Just that small act of consideration and kindness made all the difference and immediately changed my mind about my initial interaction with the receptionist. Again thank you so much Joe. Your kindness went a very long way.”

“This concerns the quality of provision of Focus Music, not venue hire - I’m concerned that negative reviews of the venue are being linked to the music teaching, which is superb. We now have in-school guitar lessons from Focus Music, having moved away from another provider. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of teaching - a vast improvement on previous experiences.The communication, through the school’s system or direct emailing/phoning/messaging is also first rate. Couldn’t be happier!”

“They have skilled, trained and patient swim coaches welcoming to all levels of ability. There is a sports hall next to the reception which you can hire for parties. There is an air conditioned gym as well. The changing rooms are renovated and clean.”

“Nice place to read, study or just relax listening some music. Nice, helpful staff. Clean and quiet at the time I was, evening 5-7pm. During the day you can enjoy a coffee or some hot food from the cafeteria (I didn’t use it). Parking on the side of the building.”

“The comminity cafe is a wonderful meeting place and resource for local people. My organisation hires a room here once a month th and the staff are great and very helpful.”

“It is a very good little reading space, I have been using the library since it was opened. Being a good place for me to visit with my children.
