“After 15 years living in the coffee paradise of Cape Town we have returned to live and work in the UK. It's taken us 3 weeks to get a decent coffee. The UK has lots of coffee most of it middling to terrible. Volcano is an oasis in a coffee desert. Crafted coffee at its best!”

“Best coffee in London fields. They do a great oat flat white and you get a 50p discount if you bring your own cup. Great for takeaway but they also have a few tables to sit by Mare Street Market for when the sun is out. The coffee is roasted onsite and served from a small takeaway window & they also have a nice selection of croissants and snacks.”

“Being an Australian and coming from Melbourne it is hard to find good quality coffee, but this place has not disappointed. I’ve tried iced and hot coffee’s and both have been amazing. I’m not local, but I wish I was because this coffee beats the pants of anything you find in London. I will say the service, although good could be more attentive to outside. A couple of times I have sat outside for 45 minutes to an hour, thinking about another coffee and no one has come to the table to clear the empty glass or ask if I would like another coffee”

“Really beautiful coffee gem in Camden. The atmosphere is lovely and very friendly, you immediately feel at home. All the staff are always smiling and cheerful, creating a special harmony. You’ll find an endless variety of croissants, but also English breakfasts, fresh fruit juices, and a cappuccino made with top-quality coffee, rich and perfect flavor. I’m Italian and I love good coffee, and here it’s excellent. It’s a great place for meetings, gatherings, and families, for anyone who appreciates good taste. The restroom inside is absolutely spotless, and it’s also accessible for people with disabilities and wheelchair users. Absolutely recommended.”

“Absolutely loved our breakfast at The Black Cab Coffee Co! We had the pancakes, Eggs Benedict, and the Protein Power Station – everything was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The fresh orange juice was refreshing, and the cortado was perfectly made. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and quality food and coffee. “It's a great place to work and study due to its stable Wi-Fi. The staff is always smiley and the coffee they serve is decent and fair-priced. The only drawback is they close at 5pm which is quite early. I tried espresso, latte, and cappuccino and enjoyed all.”

“Black Sheep Coffe is a little gem! It's quickly become my go-to spot for a caffeine fix and a quiet place to work. ✨ What I Love * The Coffee: Their flat white is perfectly balanced—rich, smooth, and never bitter. They clearly use high-quality beans. * The Vibe: The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, with comfortable seating . The background music is always mellow and never intrusive. * The Pastries: Don't skip the almond croissant! It's flaky, buttery, and honestly one of the best I've had in the city.”

“I went in to the cafe with a 3 year old and my 4 month old twins. A difficult task in the best of times. The ladies In the cafe made my experience so lovely. They were kind, helpful, and understanding of my huge pram ! Being around people like that can make difficult days seem so much easier, so I can’t thank you enough. Also great coffee and yummy food.”

“I absolutely love this coffee shop. The coffee is always top quality, and their almond croissants are out of this world — the pistachio ones are even better! What really made me want to leave this review, though, was a small gesture that meant a lot. As I was leaving, one of the girls who works there looked up, acknowledged me, and thanked me as I closed the door. Such a tiny thing, but it made a huge difference. Moments like that make a place feel genuinely welcoming. Highly recommend!”

“BSC is my favorite when its comes to a pistachio latte. But its not always their coffee but their top notch hospitality by the staff. I was startled with how the two young lads were busy making sure everything is perfect on a Christmas eve late in the night. Shoutout to Arman for making sure I’ve had the best experience in a while just grabbing a coffee.”

“I stopped into The Coffee Tree totally by accident — I was early for something nearby and needed to kill a bit of time, so I figured I’d grab a coffee and sit down for a minute. The place doesn’t scream for attention from the outside, but once you’re in, it has this kind of comfy, slightly old-school charm. It reminded me of the sort of cafés you end up adopting as “your spot” without ever planning to. I got a cappuccino, mostly because my brain wasn’t functioning well enough to choose anything complicated, and it was actually really solid — smooth foam, decent temperature, not overly bitter. You can tell they actually care about making a proper cup instead of just rushing drinks out. The barista was friendly in a very normal way, like someone you might chat to on a bus, not that over-the-top “HELLOOOO HOW’S YOUR DAY GOING?!” type of thing. There were a few people scattered around doing their own thing — someone reading, someone working, a couple just chatting quietly — and the atmosphere felt easygoing in that “nobody is in a hurry here” sort of way. I ended up staying longer than I meant to, which is always a good sign. Honestly, it’s the kind of café you remember later when you’re nearby and think, “Yeah, let’s go there again.””

“The Black Sheep Coffee in Paddington Central always has friendly service, good coffee and delicious Norwegian waffles (the ones with Norwegian brown cheese and jam are my favourite)”
