    Love Your Furniture

    ★★★★★ 5
    Closed

“After years of use one of our love seats developed a broken zig zag spring! Which meant sitting on it was difficult. I found Love your Furniture through a Google search and was pleased they were based in my locality and also that they were mobile. I contacted Paul and sent photos, he gave me a price and we arranged a date. Paul was happy to rearrange the date and when he came assessed both seats I had, replaced the spring and sorted the sagging seats. End result seats are as new. I would highly recommend him for all your furniture needs.”

    Oak Caffe

    ★★★★★ 4.9

“Love this cafe, it's one of my faves in the area. Lovely food and good coffee to match. I came with my one year old daughter and whilst the place is quite small, the staff were incredibly accommodating to set her up in a high chair and were engaging with her throughout our meal, bringing her colouring pads and childrens cutlery. They were also un-phased by all the food and pencils that ended up on the floor! Food was nice, came out hot and quickly. Defo recommend.”

“I'm Sid's brother in law and his coffee shop is brilliant, especially the Brazilian snacks! My favourite is the Coxinha and Pão de queijo (Cheese bread), the atmosphere is great and there are delicious milkshakes, including the Açai milkshake which is my personal favourite. Definitely recommend coming here as your time will not be wasted. The staff is also incredibly friendly! Thanks for reading”

    Freedom Caffe' Tearoom

    ★★★★★ 4.9
    Closed

“I've only ever driven through Cheam before my visit yesterday, a trip by public transport (tram and train) from Croydon specifically to visit the Whitehall museum, housed in a grade II* listed former domestic dwelling dating from before the reign of Henry VIII. While the museum is an important place of reference for local history, geared more towards children than adults, it also houses the excellent Freedom Caffe' tearoom. The restrictions imposed by such an old, historic house may mean they can't use a normal commercial coffee machine but the range of soft drinks is impressive and more importantly, the vegan options for lunch are delicious. I highly recommend both the vegan sausage roll with salad and the vegan Greek. Then there are the cakes... The only vegan option on the day was a chocolate pear and apple cake but it was gorgeous and the staff were attentive and friendly and the food reasonably priced. I also noted the fresh pasta preparation. There's more to Cheam than the museum but whatever else you're doing it's well worth making sure you visit the Freedom Caffe' for a drink and a bite to eat.”

“I had the pleasure of visiting Happy Belly Cafe and Restaurant today, and I can confidently say it’s an amazing place to be! The ambience is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The food is not only affordable but of great quality as well. I indulged in their apple strudel, and it was simply delicious! The flavours were perfectly balanced, and it was a delightful treat. What truly sets this cafe apart is the owner. He’s not just another face behind the counter; he is genuinely friendly and loves to engage with his customers. It’s refreshing to have someone who takes the time to get to know you and ensure you have a great experience. I highly recommend Happy Belly Cafe to anyone looking for a cosy spot with fantastic food and wonderful service. I will definitely be bringing my family here, and I can’t wait to return myself!”

    Impera Italia

    ★★★★★ 4.9
    Closed

“Just finished using Gimcyn Moonstone from Impera Italia, and I’m in love with the result! The finish is incredible with a subtle, elegant shimmer that changes beautifully with the light. It added a luxurious, modern feel to the room without being overpowering. Truly stunning—would highly recommend for anyone looking to elevate their space! I used a standard paintbrush in a criss-cross motion, you can leave it as is if you like the textured look of the brush strokes—it actually creates a nice effect, but after finishing a small section, I waited about 14–15 minutes, then followed Impera Italia’s recommendation and went in with the sponge (also sold by them) for the final finish. Quick tip: Don’t wait too long before using the sponge—if the paint dries too much, it won’t work properly. But also, don’t go in too soon, or the sponge might lift the paint off. The key is to let it set just enough. Test a small area first to make sure the timing is right. Pictures don't do it justice.”

“If you love wood, and especially if you love woodworking - run, don't walk, to Fallen and Felled! I had the pleasure of visiting their warehouse, which is a treasure chest of lovely timber, which has been milled with care, quite unlike your typical timber yard. Rich and Perry were wonderfully supportive throughout my visit, and incredibly patient with my questions, considering how much I still have to learn about wood. Given the mission to which this business works, you can never be sure exactly what you'll find, but that's part of the joy. I'll definitely be back!”

“Very professional and attentive service from the team in London's West End location - big thank you to Lexi, Carolina and Ishraq in particular! We had a tricky home access issue for delivery of our chosen sofa, and the team helped us find a solution quickly and without us being significantly out of pocket. The communication was clear and prompt, despite us asking lots of questions and changing our mind on the model - we always felt cared for! A superior service all around.”

“Absolutely superb. Food, service and atmosphere all spot on. It was great to be able to try a new dish for the first time (krapow gai kai dao) and I will be back to order it again. Very little wait times in service but also didn’t feel we were having our food thrown at us. Particular highlight when my girlfriend asked to add chilli to her food they asked what type. Very impressed. Ps the coconut water is a whole fresh coconut they cut open!”

It only took a couple of visits for them to remember my drink order and make me feel like a regular already. There’s an upstairs that is quite nice and quiet and there are a few tables outside which is perfect for a sunny day. I would definitely recommend!”

“After buying a large kitchen table and chairs from Steve a couple of years ago I recently returned to get a sideboard for the living room. The latter of which was subject to very specific width, depth and height requirements which were easily accommodated. Steve is clearly passionate about his work and this shows through in the finished item. Both items I purchased were built with high quality materials, attention to detail and importantly a sense of uniqueness. Do not assume this comes at a price. It doesn’t! I have been pleasantly surprised at the cost on both occasions and I cannot imagine going anywhere else in the future.”

Marnie, Banu, Aria, and the other colleagues were incredibly helpful in guiding us through our decision. Their expertise and friendly service made the shopping experience truly enjoyable. The purchase process was seamless and efficient, and we were impressed with how smoothly everything went. As for the sofa itself, it is of top quality.
