Third, the style of teaching at LSDA was exercise base rather than just theory. “I booked a 2-hour CeMAP exam with just 24 hours notice. It was my first exam in about 25 years so I was a bit nervous! However, Winway College offers a relaxed and quiet environment, and the staff member who checked me in was very friendly and polite, which was a big help. The exam room included extra air-conditioning units - very much appreciated on a hot August afternoon! The aircon units made a bit of a hum, but I didn't find it too distracting. If West Croydon is your nearest station, it's about 10 minutes brisk walk away. I'll definitely be back for my remaining exams.”

Training in fully equipped studios just a couple of minutes away from west end theatres that we have already taken trips to see shows at is something I feel so lucky to be able to do. At Bodens, I've been challenged and stretched by teachers more than I ever have in my education so far, but in a way where I feel supported in everything I do and recognised for every success. Having come from a huge secondary school and sixth form college, it's brilliant to be in small classes where I feel that every tutor knows me and wants me to do well-be it in taking my next steps towards my future or improving on what I performed last week. There's a brilliant sense of community here with staff and students alike and I look forward to coming in every day. I could not be more thankful to be training here :)”
