“I went with my cousin on a last minute date night, we had assorted Pepper soup and spicy Pomo for starters and Abula for main, I must say it was absolutely delicious!! The meat was succulent and the vibe was immaculate, staff were friendly and helpful. If you’re in Croydon and want Nigerian meal will definitely recommend. “Wow!! My second time here and I absolutely love the food and the lovely staff. I travelled 40 mins and I am not disappointed at all. Food fresh and cooked properly , we even got a free cake. We spent £30 for 2 large meals with rice , plantain and coleslaw , a large side of fried fish , 2 dumplings and drinks. All this for £30 and cooked perfectly in 2025 ?? “Visited for the Japanese cheesecake initially and to introduce a friend to this place as they are more local than me. Loved the selection of hot/cold drinks. Sat in even shared a table with other visitors which I thought was so nice and brought back the good times where people actually converse! Carrot cake was divine it was moist and tasty. Was there so long sat to near closing time! The basement has a really nice ambience to it aswell I'd come back again.”

Janet went out of her way to make things work for me and braided my hair beautifully the following day, fitting me in between her other appointments. “I just had my first experience shopping at Loupe, Croydon. What an incredible experience. I was made to feel welcome from the minute I walked in. Janet took time to walk me through the showroom and talk me through a number of watches I wanted to try on which was thoroughly enjoyable. Janet was fantastic and knowledgeable throughout my visit. I also spoke with Oshane who also shared his knowledge on Rolex and Tudor and adjusted the watch I purchased to fit. The team were all welcoming and overall I would say this was an extremely luxurious shopping experience. Other retailers in the watch and jewellery industry could learn from them how it should be done I look forward to my next visit.”

“Lovely spot for a Sunday Roast. Took the Misses and some mates here a few weeks ago and the grub was very good and very reasonably priced too. One of the best roast spuds I've had in a pub. Guinness was up there with some of the better pints I've had. Not a massive fan of the inside of the pub, bit like a sports club I prefer more of a dirty old mans boozer, but it has a cracking beer garden for the sunny days. I'd return for a summers sesh on the ciders.”
