“I have recently started going to café chai and what a great new halal café in Thornton heath. Long overdue wait for a decent café in my local area. This is my new go to place for my breakfast! I ordered a full English with a hot chocolate! Tariq is very welcoming and can accommodate to what you want to eat for those fussy eaters! I definitely recommend going there and I will be bringing more customers to him! It’s a must try café. Service and food are really good. Here’s a insta worthy pic of my full English too!”

“A very good example of a high street kebab shop. The ingredients are good quality and the food is cooked fresh on an actual charcoal bbq grill, as opposed to a hot plate like some other places. I usually have a chicken shish wrap. Some places use cheap, flakey or gelatinous pieces of chicken or salad which is on the turn and going slightly brown but not this place. Here the chicken is proper, good quality, large pieces of chicken breast and the salad is all fresh. The cooking was great and not overdone or dry at all. Some of the reviews complained about delivery, which I can’t comment on, as I generally only collect in person for this type of food, as it usually doesn’t travel that well and is better eaten sooner. I’ve been waiting for a local, decent quality kebab shop to open up and finally we have one - this is definitely the place to go for this type of food, in Green Lane and the surrounding areas. The staff were friendly too.”

“For me personally I thoroughly enjoyed my order from Maks! My food was very good and arrived on time. I'm actually quite shocked by the average stars! Some of these 1 star reviews I find pretty 'stupid' I guess because it really shows how some people don't care about the people unless they are the people. I genuinely find reporting small businesses disgusting. For one dish? Clearly people love it so maybe it's just because it's different to what you normally eat so that's why you don't like it. “Very nice hotel. Is not expensive but the services are very good for the money. The rooms are clean, every day the cleaners change the bed sheets, towels and consumables. The rooms have big LCD TV, air conditioning, hair dryer, kettle, mini fridge, safe and microwave oven. The room doors are locked with electronic latches wich sometimes doesn't work properly because of magnetic cards, but the problem is very well known by the hotel employees and they will change your card without any problems. Parking is not free and you can park at the basement of the hotel or into Ibis hotel parking.”

“Gonville Academy, the school that has gone through generations of children, the school in which my older siblings (and me obviously) have spent 8 fun filled years in. This is the school, that helped me with MEH FLIPPIN MATHS problems, this is the school that helped me when I felt down. This is the school that you must surely sent your child to. I've recently left the 6th and final year and i can downright say, that this school, Gonville Academy is the best school ever. Not exaggerating here either. Hence, I give Gonville Academy a whopping 10/10 (or 5 stars because thats how we have to rate it here”
