“We love The Od Courthouse Cafe. A gem in High Barnet, especially when you have smaller children. The coffee is great (alternative milks available), food has a good variety (GF and Vegan, and dairy free) and there is plenty of space and ride one toys to keep them occupied whilst you can actually enjoy a cup of coffee, great cake and chat. We frequently come, especially during the summer. The community is what helps make a cafe like this so great, everyone is friendly, locals donate preloved ride ons/ sand toys and children have already been friendly and played so well.”

“I don’t have the words to describe how nice this Hotel is. Easily the most luxury hotel I’ve stayed at in London from the Cleanliness all the way through to the pool and wellness areas. I actually planned my engagement and proposed to my now fiancée at the upper terrace of the hotel (pictured) and it was entirely coordinated by the most professional, able and kind events planner Dominique. Without her my proposal plans would have fallen through so I owe so much to her, as well as the staff on site at the hotel on the day including Jess who was very helpful front of house. If I could give ten stars I would and would highly recommend anyone staying here for any occasion.”

“Came in for brunch with my girlfriend, greeted immediately with friendly service (attentive but not cloying). The kimchee Bloody Mary is delicious. Was seated immediately and even offered to swap to a comfier table despite the pub being busy. I had the full English which was very yummy with clear use of higher quality ingredients (especially the thick cut bacon which was the best I’ve ever had). My girlfriend had the croque Madame which was super delicious and decadent. Overall amazing experience and service can’t wait to return for the gammon steak and chips.”

“We went there for Sunday roast and we enjoyed the experience. We ordered the triple roast, which has beef, pork and turkey. It was very nice and you can get more potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and gravy for no additional price. The atmosphere was pretty relaxed too. I would recommend it.”

The food was amazing - especially the chicken liver and the lamb shish, both cooked perfectly and full of flavour. But what truly made the experience special was Okàn. His service was impeccable - funny, engaging, and full of positive energy. He made us feel so welcome, kept great conversation going, and made sure everything was perfect. We were even treated to complementary bread and an extra dish, which was such a thoughtful touch. Okàn really turned a great meal into an unforgettable experience. “What a beautiful unique experience! Highly recommend for all of the reasons. The room, reception, bar and restaurant are what you would expect for 15th century architecture and vibe. It's not the Hilton but if you want to experience that historic vibe and a few fun history lessons along theway, than this is your stay. The bed was comfortable and the room had all of the amenities. A little on the smaller side and floor uneven but it totally works! The staff was so kind and beyond accommodating! We will be back! So close to the cathedral and all of the shopping and restaurants. Enjoy your stay!”

“I’m giving this place 5* as I believe the court cafe should be kept open. Many courts no longer have cafes and I think it’s a useful thing to have in a court. However don’t expect very good food! It’s very school dinner canteen. They will do hot drinks though and snacks, cold drinks. The staff are nice enough and there’s places to sit. Probably a lifeline for many people have a hard day in court.”

“Excellent Nursery! We brought our son here after 4 teribble months at Toad Hall in Hersham and he thrived! All nursery teachers including the nursery manager were a delight to deal with. From the current staff we dealt with Maria, Adeer and Charley - all excellent! Kate was our son's favourite teacher and she was absolutely amazing - I understand that she has left since then.”
