“Wow!!! This is a fantastic and convenient spot to get sushi whenever you want it. This is because this sushi gourmet place has a large range of options and choice. The choices vary from the simplicity of a Nigiri to salads and big rolls. It has options of small and £10 boxes of nigiri and other sushi rolls and bigger portions of £20 that are more complicated rolls. It has deliveroo as takeaway and delivery service. However, it’s in Sainsbury’s in the centre right at the back of the store. This doesn’t mean that it has a bigger difference on this gourmet style and other Japanese restaurant. It only contains sushi and not brothers or other Japanese dishes as it’s only a Sushi Gourmet. When I go there I always get the nigiri rolls because they’re fresh and simple and also delicious. I’ve also been to other Japanese authentic restaurants and it’s different regarding the taste of the sushi because it’s not a chain but a single restaurant. However it’s not that big of a difference regarding freshness.”

However they only take cash payment, which is fine by me as I'm old school. Do check if they are open in the month of August as they close the shop for holiday.”

“Am amazing find hidden away. This is in a food court but it feels like you step into south east Asia when you go inside. The food was very authentic, fresh and I would go far as to say the best dim sum / yum cha I've tried in the UK! So fresh, they make in front. Also there is a bar in the food court with many types of Asian drinks and beers. Small family run stalls in the food court. I saw Chinese, Japanese and Malaysian from memory. Dim sum reasonably priced - video shows the menu. My photos go into the food court too.. love it!”

“I’ve been here many times over the decades. The restaurant is a little hidden away but it’s always busy even on a Friday lunchtime when many workers don’t come into the city. But Mugen fills. There are lots of great dishes here you can’t go wrong with the lunch time specials, if you like chicken katsu this has the crispiest batter and the most warming curry sauce. “I had a fantastic experience at Mimi Mei Fair! The food was outstanding, the Xiao Long Jewels were definitely the highlight of the meal, absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The Mala Spicy Tofu was also amazing, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat. On top of that, the service was excellent. “We celebrated with a group of 11 guests and were accommodated (little tight but cozy) in the back room. The food was really excellent with fresh flavors and good service. Loads of vegetarian options and I think we ordered just about every vegetarian starter and main courses. Noteworthy mock duck, lettuce wraps and aubergine stir fry in soybean sauce were my fav. Dessert was ok! Wish they had been more creative with the mains as the bulk were prepared in soybean sauce.”
