“We’ve sent both our DS to this nursery over the last 3 years. The consistency of care is fantastic; same consistent carers mean they have really taken care and helped our sons to develop. They worked with us through any “leaps”, teething or potty training situations. The chef David has been amazing, catering to their dietary needs (vegetarian, no onion/ garlic) with a smile and enthusiasm. The boys over the years have really enjoyed each day and their time especially with the Montessori approach. We get verbal feedback at the end of each day (whether a quick brief or more detailed as required). We loved that the boys were taken outside to the green common next door whenever feasible and were exposed weekly to music afternoons and exercise / sport sessions. They come back having painted, played, read books, learnt about culture and everything in between. The carers have been amazing - Kim, Rosa, Camilla, Lucy, Tiana, Prima, Cara, Leena, and recently Saheeda - we’ve known most of these over the last 3 years if not all of them (and they are still there!) - that consistency of presence and care has been incredible in providing a “second home” to our children. They know our boys, and saw them grow up from less than 12 months of age to 3 years. It was a really warming and caring environment which helped nurture our sons at such a young age. The love given to them (even at their worst times) was and has been invaluable. We’ve (all of us) had a truly happy experience with the fortune green team. From our perspective and from what I heard from parents at other nurseries, this is the one of the best nurseries in West Hampstead; despite others perhaps being more convenient location wise, or “newer”. Finally, this review has not come as a one-off assessment or as a new parent who recently joined; it’s over 2-3 years of experience with two very different type of DS. Thank you to the fortune green team for being there with us for our boys; my wife and I will not forget our time together and for ALL the right reasons. Lots of love S&K, A&V.”

“Lovely! The booking process was easy, the restaurant lively but not too busy, nice decor throughout, clean. The food was great and the lady who served us was polite, nice and knowledgeable. We never felt rushed out, and they even got me a little treat as it was my birthday! I will definitely come back and recommend. If I can make a small suggestion, it would help to see the prices on the menu x”

“Absolutely recommend this place! Every sushi is made fresh to order (apart from the rice, of course), so it’s not the kind of spot where food flies out instantly, but trust me, the wait is completely worth it. When our Salmon Lover Set arrived, we were blown away by the generous, beautifully presented sashimi. It instantly brought us back to Japan’s quaint little sushi bars run by old masters, imperfectly cut yet perfectly portioned. When we came for dinner, the whole place was being run by just one person, Mr. Md Nazrul Islam. He did it all, welcomed us at the door, made the food, and still managed to be super friendly and warm throughout. The service and quality made the whole experience memorable. We couldn’t finish our set and took the rest home (no complaints there!). Definitely a place worth visiting. We’re already looking forward to going back and trying the hot meals next.”

“My wife and I have always loved Korean food. Been to many places around the UK, have friends from Korea, and have been to Seoul as well. This is a great place. It has that Korean homemade feel to their food. Not going to lie, it’s not flashy food, it’s not trying to be in your face, it’s not instagrammable. It isn’t overly spiced. It’s not trying to adhere to the local palette. Instead, it feels genuine, fresh, and from the heart-like a lovely homemade meal. To us that defines what a 5 star review should be. Thank you for such a delicious meal!”

“Headed out for a quick Sunday evening meal (kid free!!) for my wife's birthday so it was quiet. We had an attentive server and great food, which is the norm with this Pizza Express. With our Gold Membership, we had a whole host of offers to enjoy including a free bottle of prosecco. The new 60th Anniversary Queen's Margherita was fantastic - keep it on the menu!! The huge fudge cake was perhaps a step too far for my wife but I enjoyed the Dolcetti sorbet to end the meal. Making saving is excess of £50 can never be ignored so fair play to Pizza Express and their excellent loyalty system!”

“Lovely low key spot no need to dress up its more about the food. The food was stunning highly recommend. If you like turkish/Mediterranean/rice dishes then I recommend here its very tasty food. Staff were polite and knowledgeable about dishes and happy to explain what they were.”

“The food here is absolutely amazing and authentic to the true flavors of Northern India ❤️. Cannot go wrong with the staples: hot masala chai, papadums, garlic naan, bombay mix, butter chicken and lamb Biriyani. Food took a little long to arrive to table, but it was well worth the wait! Our server is named Freya and was very friendly! Highly recommend if in the Watford area.”

“Went for a works meal. Brilliant service, fantastic atmosphere and lovely food. I had the tuna pizza and asked for extra anchovies and it was very tasty. The limoncello shots, random birthday celebration (for one of our party who wasn't actually celebrating a birthday!) and sing-along Italian hits added to a great feel inside this cosy restaurant. The only slight hiccup was that the tiramisu hadn't quite flawed completely, but honestly it didn't matter. I would definitely return.”

“First visit to The Petite Coree this week, been wanting to try for a while & it did not disappoint. We had a bbq table for 4 people. We tried a huge number of dishes as so much we loved the sound of. Highly recommend the feather blade beef for the bbq, so good we orders 2 rounds! Loved the glass vegetable noodles, the bibimbap & the vegetable dumplings were amazing! The tofu & kimchi omelette were also delicious.”

“I've been a loyal customer since this spot first opened in 2010 when it operated out of a trailer. After several years away, I revisited yesterday for the first time since 2016, and I'm happy to say the quality hasn't changed a bit. Their falafel and halloumi are exceptional, and the hummus and tahini sauce are top-notch. This place continues to impress with its consistent quality and delicious flavors.”

“I stop by about once or twice a month as a little treat, either on my way to work or over the weekend, and every time I’m welcomed as if I were a daily customer. The team is always incredibly friendly, greeting customers warmly, chatting with them, saying hello to their dogs, or even complimenting their outfits. The service is consistently quick, even during the busiest times, and the coffee and pastries are always spot on. The atmosphere is wonderful too, great vibes all around. Highly recommend - makes a lovely start to the day x”

“One of the best cafes I’ve been to. Highly skilled baristas, top-quality ingredients and super cozy atmosphere. The sandwiches were not my absolute favorite but their strong suit is surely the coffee. The pastries looked stunning too but haven’t tried them personally. Love the fact that they give card with each drink explaining the origin and story of the coffee/ tea you are drinking and super appreciated them not sweetening your drinks leaving you the option to add as much sugar as you please ☕️”

“In a town where culture, the arts and music has been allowed to dwindle for the best part of 15 years, the Pump House is an absolutely vital part of the local arts and music scene. It provides an essential space for music and theatre in a way no other venue now does in Watford. From amateur theatre and kids theatre groups, to live music of all sorts, Watford would be artistically poorer without the Pump House. It should be supported and protected at all costs.”
