“I heard about the chorba at this place from an elderly gentleman - so I made it my mission to go. The chicken soup was piping hot and tasty ( home style ). Well priced - super clean and no frills - clean display cabinet - nice music and clean toilet. I loved it so much I stayed to read my book and have another beverage. These are the local places we need to support!!! Next time I’ll go for breakfast.”

“Really nice seating, right next to the park as well. Very friendly staff and fast service. We ordered their Iced Mocha, Iced Caramel Macchiato and Nutella Crepe and they were all delicious!”

“Lovely little spot in the entrance of a mixed use space. Lots of morning sunlight (weather allowing) and a few picnic tables out front. Cortado was quite good if a bit pricey. Would have loved to try a crepe but they weren't offering them because they were out of butter... I mean, I get running out of things, but this seems like an easy fix... Oh well... Maybe next time!”

“Gina’s is the best. We’ve been struggling to find some good quality, authentic Ghanaian food and we’ve finally found it. Everyone was so lovely - our server especially. The restaurant was quite busy but she did an amazing job. The food was a little slow to come out but honestly worth the wait, and with the songs they were playing and the vibe of the restaurant we really didn’t mind. We’re definitely coming back again ❤️”

“We such a lovely time at Maggie’s Café this Sunday afternoon. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive — approachable for a bit of good banter too, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and fun. We were especially well looked after by Rosi, who was an absolute star and made sure everything ran smoothly without ever feeling rushed. The food was great and the place had a really homely vibe — organised and efficient, yet calm and comfortable. They even happily accommodated a little wiggle of salsa, which just added to the joy of the afternoon. A genuinely warm, feel-good spot that makes you want to come back again. “Genuine restaurant with high standard service and manners. I went in to pay in advance for a large meal and announced I will be back later to pick it up. The staff member was most kind in helping me put together the order as I wanted it. Furthermore, I was late to return and pick up the order and in the meantime the restaurant had closed. The staff member were so dedicated that they had left my order with the next door shop and a note to pick it up. BTW, it was beautifully packed and still hot. Huge thanks to you all and to the guy next doors who immediately brought the order when he saw me outside.”

“I have been to this pub a few times.since the new manager took over (i think he has been managing for around 8 months now). They are a very friendly community based team. Today for example a lady in a wheel chair was outside and asked me.to let.thr staff kmow she needed help. Thr manager immediately let.me tell him even though he was really busy. Came out straight away and mads the lady feel special and supported. He even tried to find a comfy seat available for her and one that was not high. When I have been here before the manager was again very chatty and explained he wamts customers.tk feel special and valued. He certainly has achieved this. The ither staff also are friendly and always approachable. You will be served here quickly as they make customers a priority.the food is amazing too.”

Wont go into detail as shows change but please go it politics , poking fun at celebrities & royals is your thing or you just like to laugh . Oh and couple it with a meal & a drink in the pub downstairs perfect evening”

“Not even joking, the food was AMAZING. The onion was so soft and crunchy and everything tasted so so fresh, the chicken , the kibbeh, the salad was AMAZING.The dessert was nice and sweet too. Not to mention the service was so so good and Bashara and Nelly were so sweet. I was with my 2 friends and they were so interactive and made good conversation and the atmosphere was comfortable and we honestly felt so welcome there. You should definitely go if you like Lebanese / Middle Eastern food or if you are Lebanese yourself , and missing that authentic taste because you will DEFINITELY find it there . I have nothing bad to say at all . xxx”

I had take away from there a few times before and was always pleased with the food quality and taste, for the first time yesterday I ate at the restaurant for my Birthday with a bunch of friends and it was a really lovely evening! Very cosy and intimate atmosphere, food was great and the staff was very nice and patient with us. Big portions and very reasonable price for the quality and for the area. I also appreciated the BYOB, I'm a bit fussy about wine and being able to bring a fancy bottle was an extra value for me. Definitely recommended!”

“Extremely affordable little Thai cafe in South London. Lunch menu with two courses from £11! It was also BYOB so we took a bottle of wine for £2 corkage. Lovely friendly prompt service too. The prawn toast and the Pad Si Ew particularly were really tasty.”

“We had such a lovely experience at Joice Café in Mill Hill, largely thanks to Ramin. His service was exceptional from start to finish, attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling intrusive. The food was outstanding. The duck and salt beef Benedict were honestly to die for, perfectly cooked, beautifully balanced, and clearly made with real care. You can tell when a place takes pride in both its kitchen and its service, and Joice Café absolutely does. Ramin made the whole experience feel effortless and special, which went a long way, especially when dining with family. We left feeling looked after, well fed, and already planning our return.
