“I recently visited Appetiser Indian Restaurant, and while there were a few bumps during my visit, I can see the potential this place has with a bit of fine tuning. The biggest challenge was the service time it was quite delayed. It seemed like the team was a bit short-staffed that day, which affected how quickly orders were prepared and served, even though the restaurant wasn’t too busy. That said, I truly appreciated the effort of the lady at the counter. She was clearly managing a lot on her own and still handled everything with a calm and helpful attitude. Kudos to her dedication! Now, coming to the food the star of the meal was definitely the pizza. It was flavorful, fresh, and really stood out in terms of quality. If you’re a pizza lover, it’s worth trying! However, the rest of the dishes didn’t quite meet the mark this time. Some items felt a bit bland and lacked the freshness you’d expect from an Indian dining experience. Despite these hiccups, I believe Appetiser Indian Restaurant has the potential to be a great local spot. With a bit more staffing and attention to consistency in food quality, it could easily become a go to hangout. I’ll definitely consider giving it another try in the future especially for the pizza and I hope to see a more streamlined experience next time!”

“Me and my family, a group of 11 people attended O Calhau yesterday for Fado night. It was amazing, my partner lives close by and it was always somewhere we wanted to visit. Food was amazing, the chef was amazing too, she was so welcoming. Being from Madeira ourselves, it felt like being home again. My family travelled far and really enjoyed it too! He has an extensive menu, wraps, burgers, pizzas, sandwiches and many desserts. When you come here you are welcomed and feel at home. There is something for everyone and you do not have to be a vegan or vegetarian to enjoy it. Super Signh's is within walking distance if you are staying at the Hilton. Highly recommended.”

“Very nice cozy pub within walking distance from the south side of the airport. Charming atmosphere, good food, and typical pub service. Odd enough it is fairly quiet inside as there is a fair amount of plane traffic above, so the outside is what it is. Highly recommend this landmark for someone wanting a proper pint.”

It’s so tasty, fresh and we’ve tried to order a different dish each time to savour the different dishes. I tried their mixed grill and it was out of this world. We even received some freebies as a kind gesture to say thank you for our custom. They so friendly too when you place an order and cater for all your needs. Tandoori nights is a favourite for a Saturday night takeout!”

The authenticity of Indian flavors in their cuisine was a true delight with every meal. A remarkable feature was their ever-changing menu, ensuring a diverse culinary adventure on a daily basis. Their thoughtful provision of special dishes during festivals added an extra layer of excitement to their already impressive repertoire. The only minor drawback I encountered was the service’s limited dinner availability, which often leaned towards the later side. Nonetheless, the sheer quality of their meals and their sincere efforts to cater to diverse tastes certainly overshadowed this slight inconvenience. In sum, Delhi Chef’s Indian Tiffin service truly exemplifies their dedication to delivering exceptional Indian cuisine while accommodating the preferences of their patrons.”

I ordered a Karahi gosht special & butter naan, was beautifully presented, tasted delicious, meat tender, soft and juicy, naan bread nice and hot. Customer service was excellent, the waiting staff made me feel very welcome, be back again.”

For the mains I had the Viva La Vegan burger and sweet potato fries. Absolutely loved the burger! Overall I was pleasantly surprised on how nice the food was. I've been driving past here for probably the best part of 2 decades but not once eaten here. Glad I gave it a go, Tastecard really helped to be honest. The bill came to £43.23, we got a Tastecard discount of £15.68. So I total 2 starters, 3 soft drinks, and 2 mains £27.55 (£13.77per person)”

“Papa Johns saved my life. My plane was canceled while I was on it. We sat there on the plane for three hours. They only served pretzels and water. When we checked in to our hotel, it was 11:30 PM! Papa John's took my order and delivered it to the airport hotel. The delivery driver greeted me with a smile. Best pizza ever.”
