“Le Bon Cafe, a popular spot for breakfast is an unsuspecting Moroccan restaurant which I have been meaning try. Finally went in but didn't try the Moroccan dishes as planned but will revisit again another time. To be fair, the Moroccan menu had a good range of the usual suspects like the tangine, pancakes and briwat. It seems the breakfast is more popular possibly because it is cheaper than the Moroccan dishes. I had the American pancakes with salmon and scrambled egg which was how it should be. It was served stacked which was quite different and the pancakes were thick and soft unlike the supermarket ones which you can buy. Will return for the Moroccan dishes so I can compare it to the ones at Shepherds bush which are a third cheaper.”

“Samir cut my 5 year old's hair excellently. He had a bad experience previously at another barbers and so my boy was a bit nervous. Samir went above and beyond our expectations at putting my little boy at ease with lovely communication and so he was happy to have the full haircut inc clippers for the back and sides. “We used Branching out for funeral flowers. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. We had some unusual ideas and they listened and gave advice and the drinks while we deliberated were very welcome! On they day of the funeral were were absolutely delighted with the flowers. They were beautifully arranged, vibrant and just what we imagined. They really brightened a very sad day for us. “Food was delicious. The decor is beautiful too. I had the scallops for starters and they were cooked to perfection and the lamb rump for main was also nice. The drinks / cocktails were rather expensive for a Croydon restaurant but they were also pretty good. Portions are not the biggest to order some sides if you’re hungry.”

“My secret to a perfect day: double egg, bacon,onion and mushroom sandwich with a drizzle of brown sauce...The two brothers are proud in what they do - hard to find these days... and ask for runny eggs. My mouth is watering while typing although I just had a toasted BLT(on the diet - new years resolution. Still asked to throw a runny egg in it.)”

“Ponte Nuovo has got to be the best Italian in Croydon. A great selection of starters, the bread and oil is so simple yet incredibly moreish, and the main courses are full of flavour and depth. Big big portions. Save space for the deserts, the gigantic profiteroles in a sea of chocolate sauce, the insanely rich tiramisu. Staff are very friendly and speak highly of the italian chef and kitchen staff; a sure sign of a good front of house/back of house team relationship. Service was perfect, meals bought out together and well presented. This is somewhere you bring family for a great dinner. At this time of year it had a good but not overpowering christmas decorative theme. We're going back soon.”

“Haven't been there for 8 years, fancy something different than pub food, the food was excellent big portions two drinks cost only £20 would have cost me in the £50 in the pub highly recommend.”

Lots of parasols for cover. Super friendly manager who was very accommodating, checking everything was good for us and letting us know about a BBQ the following day.”

“I e been using this mail studio for years. Their value is in how well the place is run. The manager is on top of all customers. Always best to call and book first, but they frequently allow walk ins. I also use their Dermalogica facials, if you go for the 1 h 10 minutes, you get the most awesome massage too. I have visited many of these places over the years, and this time I’m happy to stick with just Orchid Studio. The image show my nails after 2 weeks, as an indication on how well the get stay on.”
