“Almost perfect experience in this barbers today for a beard trim. The barber took the time to listen to what I asked for, and fed back to me what he interpreted. This may seem like a small thing, but it's super important to me. So many barbers I go to do not listen to me fully when I give them instructions. The quality of work was perfect. Very highly skilled barber, and also very careful. No scratching with the razor as some barbers do. Value was brilliant. £8 for a beard trim. Very good value in my experience, especially for a skilled barber. I have no negative comments. The only suggestion I would make is that I wasn't offered the hot towel service and face wash etc. I didn't mind, because I was in a rush, but, it would have been nice to be offered. It is only a little more expensive, but probably well worth the money. Keep up the good work, and keep listening to your customers.”

“Relaxed service. Perfect cheese burger for £3. Perfect chocolate sundae. Chicken burger was so tasty it forced me to slow down to savour it which was another superb experience. The loo was perfectly clean. They have regulars which is the best compliment. The staff were all very approachable. Thank you for being a space of tranquillity in a crazy world.”

“A really nice place for authentic tasty Indian food. We had a gala time. The food was delicious. The manager very friendly and service professional. We had a three course meal with various starters, biryani and goan prawn curry for mains and pudding and kulfi for deserts with masala tea and coffee. All the dishes were made to taste, generous portions and with personal care. We also had few delicious cocktails while waiting for starters. I would highly recommend the place if you are looking for a nice clean place for family dine out with friendly professional service.”

“So I’ve taken my nearly 2 year old to one or two other places for a hair cut and he would just scream and it was traumatising. My mum suggested Brogans as she used to take my brother there when he was a kid and so we made an impromptu visit down to brogans today. To my shock and surprise, Debbie was able to keep my son calm and smiling throughout the hair cut and he didn’t cry one bit! Debbie was so calm and flexible, was trying to make the hair cut into a fun experience for him and the best part was that my son could watch the buses go past outside and Debbie was able to get on with the hair cut with him distracted. She not only was able to distract him but also the hair cut was of high standard and let’s be honest, it’s hard to get a 2 year old to sit still so I wasn’t expecting it to be perfect. But I’ll be honest, it was perfect and she understood his hair type and what style would suit him best from the get go.This is definitely going to be my go-to place for his haircuts now and I’m so thankful it’s no longer going to be such a traumatic experience for us all!”

He even made her a black paper rose, which was such a thoughtful and welcoming gesture. The birthday arrangement was wonderful, with a sparkler on the cake and the staff singing happy birthday. Ejder truly made our day special — thank you for such a memorable and enjoyable experience! “I've only ever driven through Cheam before my visit yesterday, a trip by public transport (tram and train) from Croydon specifically to visit the Whitehall museum, housed in a grade II* listed former domestic dwelling dating from before the reign of Henry VIII. While the museum is an important place of reference for local history, geared more towards children than adults, it also houses the excellent Freedom Caffe' tearoom. The restrictions imposed by such an old, historic house may mean they can't use a normal commercial coffee machine but the range of soft drinks is impressive and more importantly, the vegan options for lunch are delicious. I highly recommend both the vegan sausage roll with salad and the vegan Greek. Then there are the cakes... The only vegan option on the day was a chocolate pear and apple cake but it was gorgeous and the staff were attentive and friendly and the food reasonably priced. I also noted the fresh pasta preparation. There's more to Cheam than the museum but whatever else you're doing it's well worth making sure you visit the Freedom Caffe' for a drink and a bite to eat.”

All the staff are really friendly and welcoming and the minute I step in the door I totally relax, especially if I know I have got a lovely facial to look forward to. I have had various treatments with both Vicky and Emily who are both really skilled therapists and I feel so at ease with both of them and am always very happy with the results. I have had lots of lovely comments about how good my skin looks from both family and friends and I have definitely also noticed a difference. My skin is glowing. Even her greeting to us humans is always with a smile. Considering we have had large dogs, this has never been an issue with Beth, on the contrary, she is so relaxed and confident with them. They have all come out looking and smelling lovely. We would recommend Beth 100% - even after moving out of the area, we are more than happy to travel 45 minutes for her expert service.
