“Wonderful. That probably doesn't do it justice. The location is idyllic. The house is gorgeous and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We sat outside as it was a lovely day with a spectacular view across the valley. We went for the set menu. It's not cheap but actually it's not unreasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. A few surprises (ants - deliberately - on the sushi) which were utterly delicious. We had different choices and every one of them was fantastic. Service was brilliant - friendly and informative - and the whole experience was unrushed, relaxed and sublime. Couldn't have had a better celebration of our anniversary. I also can't reccommend it enough.”
“Great night ! Delicious food and cocktails Excellent service from the bar staff Thank you AJ”
“Absolutely delicious! Excellent food & very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back! ❤️”
“We had booked in for a supper at 5pm telling the staff we had an appointment at 6pm . Our waitress was eager to speed things along and we ordered our pizzas and wine within a few minutes. We enjoyed our meal and were able to eat without rushing to make our appointment.”
“Amazing Food. Been ordering here from 5+ years regularly. The food always tastes fresh, delicious and requests are always fulfilled. Staff is very friendly. If you’re feeling like a fresh kebab, do not hesitate to pick this one!”
“Lovely little spot with great food and coffee.”
“Walked in late lunch. Ordered bacon and egg soft bap. After debating which bread I wanted roll, sandwich or soft bap. Has got to be one of the best and reasonably priced lunch break for a long time. Staff very friendly and willing to help. And will literally go out of their way to accommodate if possible. Amazing service and food”
“Came to this cafe once before on the way to work and it was genuinely the best breakfast I’ve had! The staff were really nice and welcoming and the food was incredible! Will definitely be returning!”
“Amici Cafe in Leatherhead is a cozy, welcoming spot that’s perfect for a tasty bite or refreshing drink. Their Peri Peri Panini is packed with flavor, and the crispy onion bhajis are an unexpected delight! I also love their smooth iced coffees and fresh smoothies—perfect for any time of day. Owner Sanjay is incredibly friendly and makes every visit feel special. Great food, great drinks, and a warm atmosphere—definitely a must-visit!”
“We were due to attend Grange Park during the 'Lost Season' of 2020, so three years later and we were delighted to see Tosca on a beautiful Saturday evening. I loved the grounds, far more natural than some opera festivals, with lots of interesting spaces to enjoy your picnic, relaxed was definitely the vibe for the evening. We went for the Grange vegetarian picnic and bottle of sparkling and although not cheap, both were excellent quality. The performance was of of course first rate with all the leads on top form. Walking back to the car through the quiet grounds was a nice way to end the evening.”
“We turned up as a party of 4 with 2 young children without a booking at 5pm. The staff could not have been more accommodating despite being quite busy. We were advised the wait was 30 minutes to order but were offered a table and some christmas drawing activities to keep the children occupied. A nice touch. Food was exceptionally good, with both children polishing off all their plates. Steak and ale pie & highland venison duo are highly recommended for adults! Very warm and welcoming pub. Highly recommend & will certainly be calling in again in the future after a visit to Polesden Lacey.”
“A recommended choice if you look for good food, often with a twist to keep it interesting. Highlight for us were the muscles, fish, pumpkin stuffed pasta, the very low alcohol beer and deserts. But I would trust the chef with anything. Everything was cooked on point. The staff was lovely and happy to ensure we were comfortable and looked after. We spend a bit more on drinks however the meal prices were entirely worth the price and reasonable. A real food highlight for the area and definitely the choice for bringing guests. Thank you for a lovely evening”
“I've been here three times and have never had a bad meal. The staff are always very friendly too. Highly recommended.”
“Popped by today for an hour or so and enjoyed a few drinks with my family in the beer garden, plus some ice cream! A lovely pub, staff seemed very nice too even though it was hot and they were bringing out lots of food to customers. Toilets were clean, plenty of parking out the front and side plus a car charger which is convenient.”
“Made a mistake and booked for the wrong date (a week later), but the staff were still able to seat us and were very accommodating. Service was great and the food was very good. Really enjoyable visit — would happily come back.”
“Called in for a drink to cool off on a very hot day. Service was very good.”
“Lovely traditional pub with a cozy atmosphere. I enjoyed their pie with chips and friendly service.”
“There is a shortage of good chefs to the point they get poached ! We visited 3 times in 3 days. Staff amazing. Ample parking, outdoor enclosed space for children, tables with parasols. Inside large, clean. Chef and brewer so can use tesco vouchers for food. Although did not eat..lots of clean plates. Children welcomed and woofits. Check to see if chef having a well deserved day off....a very rare occasion.”
“For me going for an Indian isn’t just about the food but the experience. We went on a Tuesday night and the staff were sensational, they greeted us at the door with a smile and even complimented my friends new leather jacket he was wearing. The food was brilliant and for our step father he said “it took him back home” (he is of Indian descent although born in Mozambique). The chef special of a lamb shank was brilliant too. The ambience was great with some fanatic music really setting the scene for a great night and traditional food. The only downside was as we went at 6pm on a Tuesday there was a slight wait on food due to it being so busy. My only advice was book in advance as you’ll struggle to get a seat.”
“£2.39 for a pint of Calrlsburg... Dec 22... same thing in central London would be roughly 6 quid... if you want a decent pint at a very reasonable price, Weatherspoons have got to be a top three option”
“Service was great. Very friendly and helpful. Thank you!”
