“Wonderful staff and the usual patronage / regulars are all incredibly welcoming and full of humor. Not one macro brewery to be found. All local-ish microbrews from really incredible breweries. When I return to England, even if I'm staying far from Kemptown I'm definitely popping by Hand In Hand again. Amazing!!!”

“Absolutely incredible experience at Manju’s. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family. The food is some of the best vegetarian cuisine I’ve ever had, every dish packed with flavour, beautifully presented, and served with genuine warmth. You can tell everything is made with love and tradition. The setting is cosy and intimate, and the personalised service made it feel extra special. “Very tasty and great atmosphere. Bottomless soft drinks and free popcorn while waiting for our order. We stayed in the basement, but they have tables upstairs and outside as well. Over all very good place, large menu for vegans as well!”

“My mother and I visited this place on the 09.10.25 during lunch time hours. We were greeted with a beautiful smile form a young lady that was very happy passionate and welcoming. She designated a very nice table with a good view by the window overlooking the best view. All other staff were very kind and attentive including the restaurant owner . The atmosphere was nice with great menu selection and very good music playing in the background. The young lady was efficient and always took care of my mother's needs and even spoke in my mother's mother tongue spanish. The food was great, always well presented and very delicious. We had alot of fish dishes and they were tasty and well cooked . Overall it was a very pleasant experience lovely restaurant very clean on a beautiful sunny day. Upon existing the restaurant we were very impressed with the kindness and professionalism of everyone working that day.Also the lady owner was actually near the entrance she very nicely spoke to us briefly with a smile and said our goodbyes. “This is one of Hove‘s best kept secrets, Where locals and regulars return, the fish is exceptionally good quality, Always fresh and they have the option of gluten-free batter too you can dine in or to have a takeaway you can phone up and order it and collect your own order or get a taxi to collect your order. It’s a good old-fashioned fish and chip shop.”

“Stopped by this place while venturing around ‘The Lanes’ with my partner and a friend and what an amazing find (even worth a visit for the coffee alone!) The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive and really made our morning. We only stopped for coffee but decided to stay for breakfast after looking at the menus, our friend opted for the Islas Breakfast which looked amazing (lovely bit of sausage), my partner went for the No Meat Breakfast; both would have given me food envy had my Hash not been so tasty! The food arrived quickly and nothing was too much to ask of the staff. Definitely a little gem and we will definitely be returning!”

“Stunning cuisine. I'm not a salad lover but Izmir Bar and Grill have absolutely nailed it! It was a friend's birthday and already from the starter, we knew we had winning meals. The dessert was exquisite. Most impressive was the portion sizes. Not too much or too little - but just right! East Street restaurants be careful. “We had travelled from Hertfordshire for a day out in Brighton The atmosphere at the Ivy is excellent a beautiful blend of Art Deco luxury and contemporary style, with high ceilings, vibrant artwork, and that signature lively buzz that makes every occasion feel special. The service is truly where The Ivy excels. Our waiter was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu. Everything was handled with smooth, effortless professionalism, from cocktail recommendations to clearing courses perfectly in sync. The food was excellent we had starters of Crispy Squid and Duck salad followed by mains of Guinea fowl cassoulet and the Queen Scallops and Prawn linguine. The Ivy Brighton delivered a sophisticated and completely flawless experience.”

“A Hidden Gem in Brighton – A Must Visit! We stumbled across Busby and Wilds by chance while looking for somewhere dog-friendly with good food — and it absolutely did not disappoint! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Emily, which instantly made us feel at home. The food was absolutely delicious and clearly made fresh with care. Every bite was spot on. It’s rare to find a place that nails the balance of great atmosphere, amazing food, and genuine hospitality. This is now my go-to spot whenever I’m in Brighton. Michael made our visit special and engadged with my 3 year old neice making her visit fun. Overall the escape bar I would rate higher then 5 stars if I could”
