“Freshest breakfast in Borehamwood! Barracuda is known for lunch and dinner, but their breakfast deserves far more attention. I had the Mediterranean breakfast with sourdough and an iced coffee — perfectly poached eggs, browned halloumi, fresh avocado and spinach, seasoned olives, and grilled tomato. It’s by far the freshest, most balanced breakfast in the area. Most cafés nearby are just average greasy spoons, but this is on a completely different level. If people don’t support places like this, they won’t last — and Borehamwood will only be left with the bland, profit-driven cafés. This breakfast is being overlooked and deserves more people coming in.”

“Amazing food and great service. The 2 of us enjoyed a starter, king Prawns and calamari, and main course each, spaghetti with king Prawns and penne with salmon. All dishes presented beautifully and tasted delicious! Best Italian food compared to Zizzi and Pizza Express. Staff were friendly yet professional especially Melania who served us, always a smile on her face. Highly recommended and will definitely come again soon.”

“Great little store and addition to Borehamwood. Saved me having to go to Friern Barnet for paint. Don't know why they didn't do this ages ago, as this area has no decent hardware stores (except Wickes, but their range of paint is pretty poor). I got friendly service from the lady on the till.”

“Andras and the team did a stunning job on our spare room wardrobes… First class service from start to finish. Andras was great in designing with us and the installation just looks such great quality. Definitely use Dexes rather than a High Street brand as they really care about their product. We could not be more pleased. 1,000,000% we would use them again…”

“Had one of the best pastries here - The Cruffin!!! Delicious and filled with cheese cake & available flavours - we had Blackberry. It was the best ever.... The staff are friendly and warm. Set near the Aldenham Country Farm, the cafe has warm indoor seating and a large tent, just like camping.”

We went for breakfast this morning, and were greeted by a friendly team, quick and attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is well priced, ample portions and exactly what you should expect from a casual breakfast spot. They have the traditional British breakfast combinations, as well as omelettes, smoothies, and other lighter options. Value for money is perfect. I would definitely come back and would be excited to try lunch or dinner menu options.”

I had the mixed grill, which was excellent — generous portion with a great variety of meats to try, all cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The food overall was great and not terribly priced for the quality and portion size. A very enjoyable experience, and I’d definitely return next time I’m in the area.
