“Smacks is hands-down one of the best burger spots I’ve visited in a long time. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with the amazing smell of freshly grilled patties, and the atmosphere is warm, casual, and inviting. I tried their signature burger, and it was perfect—juicy, flavorful, and stacked just right with fresh toppings. The bun was soft but held everything together, and the sauce added that extra kick without overpowering the meat. Their fries were crispy, golden, and clearly made with care, not just tossed in as an afterthought.”

“Food is great. We had 2 burgers, fries and bom-bom chicken. Have to admit, it was absolutely amazing. (And I am not a burger fan) buns, meat, sauces were of high quality. Definitely the best burger take out we’ve had in this area ever.”

“This Caribbean shop has become my go-to, especially in the winter. I usually order from them on Uber and the food just tastes so homey and comforting. I honestly buy their soup every couple of days because it’s that good and it’s the kind of meal that warms you right up. I’ve never had an issue with the quantity either. They’re always generous with the dumplings, potatoes, carrots, sweetcorn, and chicken. The flavours are amazing every single time. I’ve nearly tried nearly all of the food items by now”

“Amazing service, environment, quality and quantity of food.everything was topnotch. I am now really fan of Their chicken corn soup. Trust me this place is a hidden jem.i live in gants hill so typically tried more or less all the restaurants near by.i went bahubali to try south indian dosa which i never tried but they don't serve any more their versatile menu amazed me & my wife.only bit downside was fried rice but its not noticeable which i already mentioned to chef.Their cutleries service style is really good. Only suggestion i can give during operation time close the door and turn on ac and air freshener will be really helpful also if there is wet wipes option available will be extra poit for noticeable. As a comnercialcatering company executive i would like to say if you doing same quality and quantity in business bahubali will rise soon. I forgot to ask the guy and his colleague who served us,they are very helpful and professional. Authorities give them a rise for excellent service. Lots of love and best of luck for the team.”

“Here is an average Joe review. The energy if the place is great, you will feel at home being here. Lovely design of the interior and staff are super friendly. Looking at the menu I felt 1 slice of toast wasn't the best for a full English but, when the plate arrived I was more than happy there was just one, the portion was big. You will not walk out of here hungry. A lot of people come through the place to eat in and to take away. Prices are good for the portion if not on the low side. Omelette at £9 and full English £9,50. The only minor downside is the cigarette smoke coming into the restaurant from the people smoking outside, otherwise excellent.”

“This pub always used to be my local but was looking old and tired. They’ve recently had a refurb and honestly it looks great. Service is good, food is tasty and it’s one of the few proper pubs left. Will definitely be my local again. Highly recommend it!”

“Absolutely amazing food. I loved this food so much that my family is having to tell me to stop asking to eat it. Man the food was incredible the vegetarian hotdog is to die for and the pizza was moist thick and lovely. In fact we even got a burger for free but don't expect it everytime. But even then all the food was delicious and perfect”

“Good local Chinese restaurants are on the wane so thank the stars for Mandarin Palace. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous indeed. The service is prompt and courteous. There is parking apparently round the back. The toilets are clean but in need of refurbishment. Celebrating 50 years so 15 per cent off (dining only) up to 31 July 2024! Expensive but worth it. We went to celebrate my daughters 18th. The portions are HUGE so if ordering set menu perhaps order for one less person.”

“Very impressed! Came with friends, we were not sure where to go that evening midweek, booked a table. The place was pretty empty on a Tuesday evening so we wondered how the food would be. However, the food was amazing. Lovely menu, not the usual boring Indian dishes. Fancy names for everything including drinks! It’s a fine dining place after all. We ordered a different starters that were spicy and nice on the taste palette. Main dishes were very delicious too and we were too full otherwise would have tried desserts too. It is well decorated and you can take loads of instagrammable photos there! I definitely recommend this place, whether for a date or just to have a night out with friends!”

Their rice is alright, could work on the taste, make it a bit flavourful. Their full chicken is a go-to, extremely flavourful. Also, their staff is always friendly, especially the store manager, she always goes an extra mile to do more than has to be done.”

I really enjoy battered sausage and chips and I will next time try something new it wouldn't shock me if the fish and chicken and pie are just as beautiful. “I had an amazing experience at Saravana Bhavan! Everything was fresh, authentic, and full of flavour, but what really stood out were the chutneys. The coconut chutney was perfectly smooth and creamy, the masala chutney had just the right kick of spices, and the mint chutney was refreshingly vibrant. Each one complemented the dishes wonderfully. The food overall was delicious — soft, fluffy dosas, perfectly cooked idlis, and rich, aromatic curries. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant had a clean, welcoming atmosphere that made dining very enjoyable. If you love authentic South Indian cuisine and incredible chutneys, Saravana Bhavan is a must-visit. Every bite felt like a true taste of home!”
