“First time eating in this restaurant. Was a quiet Sunday night. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Food was delicious, cooked perfectly. Nothing was oily and the meat was not tough or dry. Very reasonably priced and waiters leave you to relax and enjoy your meal without being pushy to buy anything! I will definitely be coming back here again and have recommended to family and friends”

“Just placed an order for me and my family, food was absolutely lovely could not fault any element of it. Our order consisted of battered sausage, large cod, doner meat burger and chilli sauce. Absolute spot-on will definitely be using this place again.”

“Absolutely delicious! Tonight my fiancé and I treated ourselves to a dinner out and decided on Mustard. Our food was delicious, piping hot and served in good timing. My fiancé ordered chicken biriyani and a Bombay aloo side. I ordered the lamb kashmir raj, pilau rice and sag paneer. All dishes were delicious and did not disappoint. My lamb curry was very hot and made me cry (how I like it lol!) and my fiancé said his biriyani was one of the best he has tried. Both curries had a lot of meat, which was very tender and tasty. My sag paneer was creamy and full of paneer cheese. Rice dishes were very light, fluffy and fresh. The atmosphere was perfect, we were there at 630pm on a Saturday evening and it was a good amount of people to create an atmosphere. We also must note that we like that Mustard offer the option of coke/lemonade as a pint, as most places only offer the tiny glass bottles at high prices. This is a USP Mustard has over other Indian restaurants! We were also really pleased to see the 5/5 hygiene rating too and the restaurant eating area was indeed very clean and inviting. All staff were attentive, friendly and welcoming too. We originally was going to order online but chose to treat ourselves to eating in. After looking through the website and after deciding to eat in, on our way to Hornchurch I had a couple of phone calls from Runa, followed by a text saying if we were having any issues to let her know. We feel this was very attentive and helpful, welcoming and appreciative of new customers. We cannot fault our visit and will be returning, thank you all for giving us a lovely evening! :)”

“Chef Shen today served me the Rice with mix veg Kebab that has lovely mushroom tomato and mix peppers which are grilled together. The garlic and chilli sauce with salad together with the meal it was really wonderful taste and mouth watering when I open the box. Thank you Shen that’s a lovely food. I recommend every vegetarian who struggling to find a find can get an excellent varieties of vegetarian here with Shen in Essex Kebab.”

“Oriental City is our go to every Friday night as it’s by far the best Chinese in Elm Park and surrounding. Loveliest staff who make you feel welcome and always up beat and great to chat with. Food is always fresh and really tasty, they deliver exceptionally quickly where the food is always hot and they never forget a thing. Trust me we’ve tried all local Chinese takeaways several times…and oriental city is head and shoulders above. I’m quick to avoid the same takeaway again if they take too long to deliver, food quality dips week to week etc but this is never the case with Oriental City!
