“I’m Italian and so have high expectations when it comes to Italian food but this restaurant always exceeds my expectations. Last night I had the best pasta dish I’ve ever tasted (passatelli ascuitti alla norcina). The quality of the ingredients they use is second to none. It’s a lovely authentic family run business (Italian family from Marche) with incredible service and a calm atmosphere. This was my 4th time eating here and it never disappoints!”

“Popped into Star Cafe for a quick coffee yesterday and was met with friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. Came again this morning for Breakfast. Went for the super breakfast, freshly squeezed orange juice and a caramel latte. The breakfast was big enough for me not to be able to finish, though the chips were an odd addition to me (as a Yorkshireman). The freshly squeezed orange was a delight, literally watched it being freshly squeezed from the fruit, which really makes the price worth it. Service was friendly and attentive, but not overly bothersome.”

The food was also great value for money, and the extra touches such as sorbet and a welcome drink were really appreciated. The delivery team were amazing - the sofa didn’t fit through my doors, but they carefully brought it in through the back garden without any issues.
