“I’d been wanting to try this restaurant for ages, ever since it came highly recommended by my Italian friends. The crust did not disappoint. While I usually prefer Neapolitan style—super fluffy around the edges—the crisp bite of the outer crust here, paired with the earthy depth of the dough, almost made me reconsider my pizza loyalties. We started with the focaccia, which was as soft as a pillow—only much more delicious. It came with a beetroot balsamic, a completely new discovery for me, and one I’ll now be hunting down for my pantry. If I had one note, it’s that the pizza portions are generous; I only managed about two-thirds before admitting defeat.”

The sashimi pieces were lovely and thick, their signature rolls were delicious but our favourite was the udon (unfortunately not pictured as we were too busy slurping it up!)- the noodles were cooked to perfection.
