“Our last walk of the year on the 30th Dec 2023, resulted in us having a small refreshment stop here. We were warmly welcomed, upon entering this gem of a traditional pub. The menu looked to be a great choice of the usual pub food. I'll note here that there's a large selection of pies. Which included their Festive December Pie. We weren't hungry on this occasion so chose their basket food, which was reasonably priced and arrived quickly. The rest room facilities were clean and tidy, and I'll note the men's was larger than most for this area. A queue for these would be a rare thing I'd say. In summary a cosy atmosphere, and warm unlike many pubs I've visited recently. I am looking forward to another walk in this area, so I can try out the pies of The George and Dragon.”

“One of the best Chinese restaurants in Orpington. We ordered Tofu, and it was delicious, literally melting. The Pork and Chicken was really nice, it was recommended by the staff. The staff is really friendly. A reasonably priced restaurant must visit.”

“We just moved to the area and this was our first indian order! We expected to try at least a few places as it is difficult to find a proper tasty Indian, but this was just perfect! The food was hot and delicious, it was made extra spicy as we requested. You definitely got yourself a new regular customer because we are not going anywhere else!”

“Me and my wife came here and I honestly have no bad words to say. Firstly the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and just pleasant to be around. They seemed to enjoy working there which is always good to see. The food was incredible and loved everything we ordered and the staff even helped pick and amended orders to please us. Again great service. The place itself is lovely with music in the background at the perfect volume as not too loud or quiet. Also had an old fashioned cocktail which was very very good (and I’m a stickler for an old fashioned!). Will definitely be coming back again”

“Very good cafe modern and clean with very good service, large selection of food and drinks. Stuff are fast and welcoming. Everything we ordered was tasty. There is a large selection of breakfasts available, they have a nice small terrace outside. You can park in front and pay. It’s a nice local cafe to visit and enjoy food and drinks. I recommend”

“I recently had a fantastic experience at Wimpy! The burger was delicious, with just the right size and price for me. It wasn't overly sweet or heavy, and I could tell it was cooked with care. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided great table service. The ambience is pleasant for dining in, and I appreciated that it was less crowded than other places nearby. The cleanliness was also a noticeable plus compared to other fast food outlets in the area. I would definitely recommend Wimpy and will be back for sure. I'm not sure why it hasn't been my first choice before, but it certainly will be from now on!”

I didn’t have too much food wise, but my friends meals looked amazing. For my drink I had a sex on the beach cocktail, and it was great for the value.”

Food was amazing, crispy stuff, to be eaten hot… than get it soggy… The next thing is that it’s a self service place..applicable to place tour food orders fast.. Go earlier book and get your table, pay for you drinks and unwind…”

Only slight comment is about the lighting, please please change ‘bright’ light bulbs for ‘soft’ light bulbs to make a better ambience. Just turning them down doesn’t really work as they are too harsh but everything else Amazing.”
