She was nervous to start with but Lisa and the team were amazing at encouraging her to give it a try and even offered us a second free trial, after which I could barely drag her away at the end! Really can’t recommend highly enough, even for the shy children it’s a brilliant confidence boost.”

After placing the order with Ewa at Leatherhead branch, she rang me an hour later for other parts i needed which she managed to find at another branch. “What a lovely setting for an opera house. In the theatre itself, the seats are comfortable and have great sightlines in the stalls. There's a large orchestra pit and a large stage too. The theatre is a work in progress, and there are still facilities to build. But don't let that put you off! There's enough there for your visit to be comfortable and worthwhile. I saw Gods of the Game today and it was top notch and as good as any opera I've seen in the West End. It's a bit off the beaten track, so you'll need a car to get there unfortunately, but there's plenty of parking and it's not a long drive from South or West London.”

“We did the black taxi tour. Hands down the best part of our trip to London! Ollie is not only super friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable—like, knew all the cool facts and hidden gems you’d never find on your own. Not to mention he is a pretty great photographer and you’ll get some awesome pictures along the trip. We got to see so many iconic sights up close and personal, and the whole experience felt really special. If you’re in London, this is a must-do! Highly recommend it for anyone looking to explore the city in a fun and unique way!”

“We were due to attend Grange Park during the 'Lost Season' of 2020, so three years later and we were delighted to see Tosca on a beautiful Saturday evening. I loved the grounds, far more natural than some opera festivals, with lots of interesting spaces to enjoy your picnic, relaxed was definitely the vibe for the evening. We went for the Grange vegetarian picnic and bottle of sparkling and although not cheap, both were excellent quality. The performance was of of course first rate with all the leads on top form. Walking back to the car through the quiet grounds was a nice way to end the evening.”

“We are camping this weekend and wanted somewhere to watch the Coronation. The chain pub across the road didn’t appeal so we asked in here. The lady behind the bar was really welcoming and told us they’d be screening the event from 11.00 on Saturday. We returned today and were pleasantly surprised to find Indian food on the menu. We sat in a comfortable area close enough to watch and hear the TV, and enjoyed a lovely meal. The staff were very friendly and the owner came to check that everything was ok. We will definitely return on our next visit to Leatherhead”

“I was impressed from the moment I arrived. A very well run school in my opinion. The office staff were lovely. The headteacher was approachable and interested in everything that was going on. Everybody seemed happy. I worked with sixty very attentive and enthusiastic year 2 children. They were very well mannered and I was particularly amazed at how when I asked a question a see of hands shot up but nobody shouted out. (I mention this because I work in a lot of schools and this is unusual. To me this is indicative of a good learning environment). I was not surprised to hear in the staff room that nobody leaves. I was extremely well looked after throughout the day. Great school!”

We need people and shops like this to keep the history and independent businesses.
